The... the defendant?
Huang Shi paused briefly, he reached out to wipe his eyes, rubbing them red, then abruptly blinked, and looked again at the file in his hand.
But clearly, mental dimensions cannot change reality.
On the file, the black ink-written word "defendant" would not disappear no matter what.
"It's really the defendant?"
Huang Shi's face showed disbelief, he looked again at the nature of this public prosecution case.
And after seeing the answer...
He couldn't help but exclaim.
"Murder? Gunshot?"
His voice was loud, like someone suddenly scratching glass with a nail in a quiet classroom, producing a sharp, piercing sound, making the others in the filing court involuntarily glance at him.
"Old Huang, what's up with you?"
A middle-aged judge looked somewhat puzzled, glancing at him with a face full of confusion.
To be honest, some public prosecution cases do stir emotional fluctuations in judges.
