Chapter 40 - The Colossal Arena of the West

The Spirit Masters vessel had finally docked.

Beneath the clear skies of America, a stadium of unimaginable size sprawled across the horizon. Towers of lights pierced the clouds, giant screens reflected every angle of the arena, and the roar of tens of thousands of spectators echoed like thunder.

No floating platforms this time. No ship-bound arena. Only the colossal structure, designed to contain the might of the strongest teams from across the world.

Inside, officials hurried to coordinate entrances, holograms of previous battles replaying to analyze every flicker of a Core Disc, every surge of beast energy.

Scene 1 – Arrival and Awe

Riku stepped off the vessel.

The ground beneath his boots throbbed with energy—not from the stadium, but from the concentration of Core Beasts within.

Bolt padded silently at his side, tail bristling with anticipation.

Mira adjusted her stance, eyes scanning the immense arena.

"This… is enormous," she murmured.

"I thought Japan was impressive," Riku replied. "But this… nothing I've seen compares."

"It's overwhelming," Toma added, shaking his head. "Even the system can't manage this kind of scale easily."

Fans waved banners, some with Nepalese flags, some Japanese, some American. The stadium's sound system projected chants from every corner.

Riku's heart raced.

"So this is America," he whispered. "The place where strength will be measured… on a global scale."

Scene 2 – First Impressions

They walked toward their assigned staging area. American officials, suited and precise, greeted teams, inspecting Core synchronization readings as if measuring every pulse, every heartbeat.

From the sidelines, Japan's team adjusted their gloves, observing America's massive stadium.

Kaito muttered to Ayane and Haru: "Keep your cores steady. This isn't a typical arena. The energy feedback is intense."

Ayane smirked, "It's exciting. Let them feel it. They'll see why we trained in Japan's mountains."

Mira glanced at Ayane, whispering to Riku, "They're confident… maybe overconfident."

Riku chuckled. "That's their style. Let's just focus on ours."

Bolt growled, sensing movement—players from other countries warming up, displaying Core Beasts in small demonstrations.

"Look at that!" Toma exclaimed. "America's team… their beasts are enormous. Their Core output is off the charts."

Scene 3 – The Three-Team Setup

The stadium organizers arranged the first big test: a three-team skirmish.

India vs Nepal – Riku's team had already battled in previous arenas.

Nepal vs Japan vs America – All at once. Platforms were immobile. Energy concentrated in designated zones.

Each team had to defend and attack simultaneously, demonstrating skill, speed, and teamwork.

"This isn't just a match," Riku said, stepping forward. "It's a measurement of our limits."

Mira nodded, eyes glowing faint silver. "And a test of our core alignment. Let's not just survive—let's push them to evolve too."

Scene 4 – Pre-Battle Tension

The announcer's voice boomed across the stadium:

"Welcome, Champions of Spirit! Today, three nations clash in the first global evaluation! Each team's Core synchronization, Beast control, and tactical acumen will be assessed. Remember: Your strength is your honor!"

Riku's eyes scanned the American team for the first time.

Three members stepped forward.

One was massive—Core Beast glowing crimson, claws radiating shockwaves.

Another moved like a shadow, fluid and deadly.

The third held a Core Disc that emitted golden light, blinding yet controlled.

"They're… huge," Toma muttered, a bead of sweat forming on his forehead.

"Calm down," Mira said firmly. "We're ready. Let's focus on our formation first."

Riku's team adjusted, standing in formation: Riku in front with Bolt, Mira in center, Toma at support.

"Nepal team," Riku said, "our pride isn't just our Core—it's our bond. Let's make it count."

Scene 5 – Battle Start

With the signal, all Core Beasts were unleashed.

Riku shouted:

"Bolt—Full Acceleration!"

"Tora—Shift!"

"Kitsune—Silver Spiral!"

"Oni Bear—Vector Lock!"

Three energies collided across the vast stadium: lightning, fire, and steel. Each Core Beast reacted not only to commands, but to the opposing energies, analyzing, countering, adjusting.

The crowd roared. Sparks flew across platforms. Energy readings spiked on every console.

"Their speed…" Mira whispered, "It's beyond anything we've trained for."

Riku smiled faintly, voice low. "Then we'll just have to evolve faster."

Scene 6 – Mid-Battle Observations

While the battles raged, American analysts noted every move.

"Nepal's synchronization… excellent."

"Japan's attacks are precise, lethal."

"But watch the Core feedback from the youngest member… unusual pattern."

Riku's Core pulsed in sync with Bolt. Mira's mirrored response flared at every observation of Ayane's flames.

"It's like they're communicating silently," Toma said. "They're… connected."

American Core Beasts moved with brute power, but lacked the subtle connection of Nepal-Japan's teams.

The audience noticed subtle smiles on Riku's team faces—they were learning, adapting, even in front of the world's largest stadium.

Scene 7 – Closing Tension

The battle intensified. Sparks collided with fire. Shockwaves tore across the arena. Platforms quaked.

"Keep steady!" Mira shouted. "Remember, we fight, but we adapt!"

Riku's voice rang louder, almost to himself: "This is our evolution. No one else's. No one."

The first round of the three-team match had begun, and the scoreboard awaited—the result would set the tone for the next global stage.

Outside the arena, waves lapped against the Spirit Masters vessel. Data was being recorded, every action logged.

Riku's team was not just fighting for pride—they were fighting for understanding. Understanding their Core, their beasts, and their place in the global arena.
