Chapter 7 - CHAPTER SIX

CHAPTER SIX

I don't know how many days has it been since that incident happen but I don't really care...all I care is the weekend wherein we are allowance to go out of the academy.

That's why when the friday came again, I am excited for tomorrow. I can't contain my excitement of what would happen tomorrow so I keep on humming a song only I know.

Today is Friday, time for our elective classes—we have option of choosing two but if you can squeeze three elective classes into your schedule, it's also okay but I don't like the idea of doing too much...I am too lazy to even just get up from my bed, I don't have tje guts to do three elective class.

"In all of the elective classes options, why archery and horse riding?" I only shrugged my shoulder to Craige when he asks me that question.

I just like the idea of doing something active.

Not the one where I only sit and socialize with peopel.

I hate that.

"Baron Virel's daughter is here, I greet you Lady Virel." I look at the face of this young boy who looks like he's about to fuck every girl he sees, he's charming yet a fuck boy looking is also evident in his eyes.

He's been doing this for the past few days since I enrolled here.

I can't help but heave a deep sigh as I smile at him not because I want to but because I don't want to cause any trouble anymore.

"Greetings to you Lord Gremor. How have you been?" I said to him as if I want to hear his response to it...he smiles at me. It's not because he likes me but he's amuse that I don't back down with his sarcasm.

The side of his lips rose, he's a son of a marques, so basically, he is really part of the high society.

"How about a race? Whoever wins gets what he/she wants..." Challenging me with impossible of me winning, I only started this class just a week ago because it's the only class few ladies take.

"Just save your race with someone who's willing to abide with your caprice, My Lord." I don't know if he gets what I want of saying "just get the fuck out here" .

Instead of getting a hint, he laughs instead and said that made me raise my eyebrow.

"We're classmates here. Stop being formal with me...just call me Grem." I look at him to confirm what I heard from him.

But instead of a smirk, I saw him smile as he tilted his head at the other side. If I were insane and not in my proper mind...I would fall for his charm as well.

The way he talks and acts is kind of the boy you would want to mess your life. That's his vibes.

He has black hair and brown eyes...his eyes shines when the sun hits it.

"Then if you may, just call me Sera." I don't know why I said that at that time. Maybe because, I also got sway by his smile? Or maybe I want a new life with new people around me...not the people Seraphina has

around her.

"Cool. Then, do you want to go out with us tomorrow? Zero and Philip..." He turns towards his other friends. They smile at me but I didn't smile at them.

I can't find a reason to smile even just for formality.

"They know a great place. What do you think?"

"Just tell me the details later." I said without thinking much about it, I only want to get rid of them by saying that before getting away from them.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" I heard him said, I don't know what that supposed to mean. But it's better to be safe and don't show up.

Saying yes isn't always a yes. I still don't have the grasp of riding the horse but I am not as terrible as last time we ride it.

This time I was able to hold on for my life as the horse just run as fast as he can without minding if he's carrying someone on his back.

What a horse would do that?

This time I didn't cry. I remember the last time I ride a horse...I wasn't able to hold onto it when he runs without a warning. Ending for me to get fell down, almost losing my arm.

I broke my arms.

It got dislocated.

I cried the whole time while the healer of the academy runs to the field. Since it got dislocated, it needed an expert to heal it.

"What a crybaby..." That's what I heard from the healer, he said that while treating me. Who would not cry in that moment, do you know how much it hurts?

I didn't see his face because of my tears that made my vision blurry.

When he's healing my dislocated bone, the process of putting it back hurts more than the pain it caused after dislocating.

I tried to hold back my tears coming out and the sound I create crying by covering my mouth but that didn't help.

I don't know if I am crying from the pain alone or maybe because I got a reason to cry my heart...so I did.

I cried so hard.

I didn't care how I look or how they view me after that. All I care is the pain I am feeling and me crying myself out to my hearts content.

I thought I would have a peaceful weekend but it seems like my days of avoiding people has come to an end...my peace life will end here.

"Lady Virel." I just stare at her. When she didn't hear me saying anything, she smiles at me as she walks towards me.

I am done with my archery lessons. I have sweat all over me and when tried to reach for my hands, she hesitant for a moment before finally touching my hand.

"As you may have heard, Lord Elric is now old enough to host gatherings under his family name," she said.

She let go of my hand and stepped back, looking at Elric.

"His father allowed him to use their family boat because we are planning a short trip on the lake near the academy, a place often use for rest and quiet talks." She paused. She looks at me again, her smiles never fade. It feels like it is part of her.

"It will be a small gathering meant for conversation and a change of scenery, nothing more." Fiona added.

They're trying to convince me for their little gatherings. As if it is only for conversation and just a simple outing nearby.

"We would like to ask if you can spend your Saturday with us." Elric spoke next, his tone calm.

Calyx was also there. Fiona who's smile never fade... even though you can feel how manufactured it is.

Seraphina never mentioned Fiona before...in her diary so I don't have an idea about her at all. The first time I notice her is during her fight.

That's when I realized how revolve Seraphina's world with the Princess and Raiven...as if they are the only people she can have as friend and lover.

"Sure. I will come. What time?" Just to end this conversation, I will just agree with their invitation.

I can see how shocked Fiona was at that response, her smiles faded for a moment but when she realized my response.

Again, she smiles at me. A very bright smile that anyone can hardly say it's fake.

It's perfect.

A smile that you can never call a facade however, I can't still believe it's her genuine smile.

"I will send the details to you." Elric said smiling at me. I nodded at him.

Calyx, on the other hand, just looks at me with his sad eyes...or maybe that's how he looks people.
