Chapter 2 - CHAPTER TWO

This man has got to be one of the finest men I have ever laid my eyes one, and believe me, I've seen a lot of men.

While I was dating Tyler, waitresses would often flirt with him while I was sitting right opposite him, shamelessly throwing themselves at him, but even Tyler is no where near close to this guy, not even in the slightest.

He smiles at me as our eyes meet, and he looks even hotter with those dimples and perfectly straight teeth. He stares at me with those piercing blue eyes, and I can't take my eyes off him, not even for one second.

We stare at each for an awkwardly long time, and then he gets up and walks towards me. He plops onto the seat next to mine, eyes never leaving mine.

"Hey" He says, his voice deep and husky. He's so close to me now that I catch a whiff of his sandalwood aftershave.

"Hey" I say, smiling awkwardly. "Thanks for the drink" I say, finally peeling my away from his.

"It's no problem" He says. I don't know what to say now.

Wow, this got awkward fast. What do I say? It's been too long.

"What's your name?" He finally say.

"Chantrea" I say.

"That's a very beautiful name" He says, smiling at me. God, I can't feel my legs turning to pulp.

"Thanks. What's yours?" I ask.

"Derek" He says, shifting closer to me. "This bar is kindof suffocating if you ask me"

I laugh. "Tell me about it."

"Why don't we head over to the VIP section?"

My breath hitches. "Sure" I say, trying my best to hide my eagerness, even though I'm sure I'm not doing a very good job.

He leads me into the VIP section. His hand gently brushes against mine, but he quickly redraws it. I can tell he doesn't want me to feel uncomfortable.

'I'm not uncomfortable Derek, kiss me already '

The bodyguard lets us in and we're the only ones there. This bar is a pretty respectable one, so I can only imagine how much it costs for us to be in here, although Derek looks like it's not a problem.

We sit next to each other on the sofa, so close I might as well be sitting on his lap. I wouldn't see myself doing this for anyother person, in fact I don't think I've ever been this attracted to someone like this in my entire life. There's already an ache in my body for him, and all I want to do is to get under him and let him ravish me.

Okay, let me slow down. We just met.

"I love your necklace" He says.

"Thanks, it was my mom's" I reply, fingers finding the piece of jewelry draped around my neck.

"Your mom has good taste" He says, I notice his eyes are still on my necklace. Actually no, his eyes are eyeing my cleavage now.

I cough. "Eyes up here" I smirk.

Color rushes into his cheeks. So he's not only handsome, but also incredibly cute?

"Sorry" He laughs. "I have to say, you're one of the most attractive women I've ever seen in my life"

I almost scoff at that. I mean I know I'm good looking, but I'm not that kind of pretty. I mean, I clean up well, but I know I'm nowhere near his level of attractiveness. He's just trying to butter me up, and to be fair---it's working.

"I could say the same for you..." I mutter. I notice he's even closer to me now, but I don't mind. I wish he would just kiss me already.

We end up talking for about an hour, but it feels like we've only been here for about five minutes. I know have to leave soon, but I'm really dreading it.

"I should get going. It's getting late" I say.

"Oh, right of course. Can I drive you home?"

"No that's fine, I can just walk"

"It's late, you shouldn't be walking alone"

"Really, it's fine"

He considers me for a second. "If you say so"

I feel a tinge of disappointment, I don't know why. I'm the one who told him not to worry.

I start to get up but my phone falls out of my bag. I reach to pick it up, as so does Derek. And then our fingers touch again, it's that same electric feeling, I know he can feel it too.

He looks back up at me, blue eyes bathed with lust.

"Chantrea..." He mumbles.

And before I know it, his lips have crashed onto mine.

And he doesn't hold back.
