The shadow walked past Dexter and went to the table.
He heard murmuring from the shadow and from the sound of the voice it sounded like a female.
Dexter used his advanced hearing to listen to what she was saying, but even with his hearing abilities he could only pick up a little from what she was saying.
"So this is a human?"
"They look so weak."
"Can't believe a species like this exist."
She said some other things that Dexter couldn't quite hear but from what he could hear he felt kind of offended.
"Who is this person and what does she want?" Dexter thought to himself.
The shadow kept on moving around the surgical apparatus on the table.
When Dexter seemed to have had enough and was about to do something the shadow said,
"I know your awake."
When Dexter heard the voice he froze,
"How long had she known he was not unconscious."
"Why hasn't she done anything?"
Thoughts like these were going through Dexter's mind at the moment.
