Sharp stumbles..."what the hell happened here in the last second, it happened so fast "
Kokperk steps back and he relaxes his shoulders as he takes his stance "i thought the army officials were not supposed to interfere with the exams ,and candidates kill each other all the time.".....
Army official : "yeah. And that's why you have to die. I would really appreciate if you promise you won't struggle"
Kokperk replies "sure "....he knows he's facing a full fledged soldier....this could go wrong..
Behind this all ,Sharp is in a weird state of mind
"what the hell is going on!! ,why are you trying to save me ? Is it because iam a highborn?" He says with a clear dissatisfaction on his face. There's sadness on his face with a hint of anger. He is annoyed, this special treatment makes him feel sick. He came here to change things, to makes things equal, to demolish this discrimination, but all he was doing was play along it. He felt weak, and useless....he goes and sits below the bamboo platform and stares at the ground. Thinking about himself, with no emotions on his face whatsoever.its not like he could do anything if he was standing....among those two..
The army official holds on to his shield, tighter , and even before kokperk could blink, he dashes into kokperks chest....BANGG!
Kokperk is pushed a few meters back ,as he tries to regain his balance ...BOOM!... THE Axe straight into kokperk's shoulder as he barely blocks it with his machete before it goes deeper . He is hurt....his left shoulder is injured.
Army official holds on to his shield tighter...kokperk notices "he is going to charge in again"
And as he charges, kokperk slides ,And From Sharp's POV , he just sees a lot blood splatter.....it happened so quick...
as he charges in, kokperk slides down and smoothly comes up with a swift slice
With his machete (that is in his left hand) cutting off soldiers arm that was holding the shield along with his face....and as he comes up...he rotates from the right side of his body and puts the knife he had on his belt in the right side of soldier's neck...
The soldier stumbles..and falls....kokperk isn't even looking behind at him...he knows he's done.
With no reaction, he cleans the blood off of his machete with his pants and then walks towards the soldier... soldier isn't dead yet...the knife is in his neck...and his face is cut off....he will bleed to death...kokperk takes the knife out and cleans it with the soldiers uniform...the whole atmosphere is dark...and unsettling..blood is leaking out of the wound in his neck...and kokperk is just looking at it...not moving...not reacting...not feeling anything towards him..he is just witnessing a soldier's soul slowly leaving his body.....
Sharp as sees all of this stands up.....he is breathing heavily..."why is this happening...is this normal?" "Is killing someone normal????!"....he says as his breathing becomes heavier and faster ...
Kokperk starts walking towards him as he takes out the machete with his left hand...Sharp grabs his machete...as he breaths heavily...his heart thumping.....
Kokperk slides in and swings his knife with his right hand, Sharp blocks it with his machete....or that's what he thought he did...kokperk sliced through his machete like it was cake....and put a cut across Sharp's chest. Sharp stumbles.....as his breathing is becoming progressively faster and heavier.
Kokperk smirks "you are lucky I don't have my swords" as he comes forward...and throws his machete on the ground..."this is so much fun".."..I want it to last longer..."..
He cuts Sharp's arm, He cuts Sharp's leg, He cuts Sharp's back ,all shallow cuts not enough to kill.....as he comes forward to cut his face....Sharp asks with a serious face "hey, is killing fun?"
Kokperk stumbles...his facial expressions change from having fun to shock, fear ,and a bit of sadness...as if Sharp was not the first person to ask him this.....as a sweat drop falls from his forehead....
Sharp breathing gets abnormally high...his heartbeat faster...and faster...and faster....kokperk could listen to his heartbeat from 3 meters away.....his breathing gets faster...he starts breathing with his mouth.
Heavier breathing, heartbeat gradually became so fast it started sounding like a drum being played at a really high bpm.
(Or like a machine gun ,machine guns don't exist here tho)
His breathing becomes even faster.....
His eyes wide open...not blinking....his heart pounding more and more and more.....for a moment everything stopped..and then..he got up ,and looked straight into kokperk's eyes.....it strikes fear in him.
Kokperk picks up the machete he threw on the ground....He notices Sharp's shallow cuts are not bleeding anymore..."wait? He's already healing??"
He takes his stance with his left foot as his front foot and as he places his right hand on the handle of the knife.....

Sharp's face is 10 centimetres from his face "when did he?"He notices his eyes...those eyes were hyperdialated...his pupils were too large..Sharp pushes his fingers into kokperk's abdomen and grabbed his lower rib from inside trying to rip it out...!!! his heartbeat was too fast and too loud..and his breathing was too heavy.....kokperk tried cutting his arm...but his sword seemed to slip away from Sharp's arm....
Sharp grabs him by his rib and goes to throw a monsterous punch in his ribcage....that he blocks with his machete...but he couldn't. His punch shattered the machete along with his own knuckles and goes into his chest for a second as he let's go of his rib and kokperk is blasted away into a tree .kokperk coughes out blood and he tries to stumble his way up...."I wish I had my swords...you're really lucky" he says and jumps up in the sky...alligned with the sun directly, the sun rays blind Sharp for a second and kokperk puts a deep cut in Sharp's right arm...but Sharp gets a hold of his knife as it was cutting his arm...
Kokperk now knows what changed in Sharp.
It was just like a normal adrenaline rush...which is normal..but in Sharp's case... The Production of Adrenaline is abnormally high...it lead to his heart beating several times faster.pumping more blood faster and it also explains how started healing so fast...more oxygen demand by his muscles was fulfilled by him breathing heavily and his eyes being superdialated was his bodies attempt to gather more light and not miss any movement... Sharp was exposed to a life threatening situation...and his body tried to save him...but it was impossible for his body to
Produce this much adrenaline. How could his body afford this...
Sharp loads another punch...his eyes... superdialated...it looked like he could see through kokperk's soul. Just when he was about to punch him...the sky turned red...they both looked up...a red sky...could it mean...it was the "THE RED ZONE"!! they both realized at the same time....
