Chapter 4 - Short Interlude of a Child of Nightmares.

In the forgotten shore, far away, near the hollow mountains.

——————————————————

The child of nightmare did not know anything at first.

It did not know why it lived, why it breathed, why it took the life of other.

That was until it dreamnt of "Him". "He" was of short stature, completly befiting of a king. after all, they had nothing to componsate for. Not like every other nightmare here.

He didn't have a size complex. Never. He was of perfect stature, he and his ing were Perfect. He absolutely wasn't jealous of that big statue in the distance. NEVER. HE WAS ALREADY PERFEC—

*Cough* *Cough*Anyways, He dreams of The Prince.Alot.

The pale prince was Pure and Unthethered, caring not for the opinions of mere mortal. The Prince, ever the martyr, even had the care to release them from their Earthly form. Such kindness was unprecedented.

The prince was the Herald The Great lord, Their lord and savior. Bill.

Such an Gracious name.right? He thought so too.

The prince decided to grace the mortal realm with his heavenly presence and clean the filth plaguing the Earth.

Thinking of this, the Child of Nightmares decided it.

He needed to spread the Radiance of the Prince to everyone. And, since every other beast were stupid, he decided to spread it to those standing monkies. Of course, He had already learned their language from their dreams. They were quite easy to subdue, he already got 4 serving him. After all, to serve the lord, He needed to be sophisticated enough, right?

Thus, The child decided to take off. Using he's not-so-mighty wings, he flew for a day and a night.Where he finaly arrived at a mountain range. Here, he found a suitable enough mural of stone.

However, looking back, it seemed 2 of his Rightfully aquired servants had perished. A shame, it seemed they weren't strong enough to bear the Prince's radiance.

He also noticed that they both looked as if they had starved for days. How weak.

The prince would never allow such weak life to serve "Him". It seemed they could only be the servants of a servant. This should be enough for their impure selves.

Shaking these thoughts off, he ordered the monkies to pick up stones and carve into the stone the Radiance of the lord, wich they happily agreed with and started their Holy work.

Seeing his Slav—No, Servants, working dutifully he fell back to sleep. However, it seemed he could witness his Lord's radiance once again.

He Heard a voice reciting the Lord's Honorific Name:

𝙃𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙑𝙤𝙞𝙙,

𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙉𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨;

𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙗𝙮𝙨𝙨,

𝙎𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙚

𝙎𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙪𝙣,

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙆𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩.

Then, the voice added another Title

𝙑𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙨.

The Child of Night woke up, his "Face" drenched in red sweat.

He had witnessed the lord's Holy "brilliance". He HAD to carve it into stone for all lesser beings to see.

Immediatly, he called the 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙨 back to him. And it seemed they had done a good work, the Prince's Perfect Figure was recreated once again in this puny realm. Albeit… A bit older. But that was still right!

The prince would indeed become this grand figure sooner of later. He had just descended, alright? He too would indeed grow to better serve "His" Majesty. He would for sure. For Sure....Maybe?...…Perhaps?

Oh, and it also seemed the humans had found sustenance on their own. They indeed earned their way into his good graces. Thinking of how the prince would reward him, he ordered them again to carve the Prince's Honorific name in the a nearby flat stone.

They got to work, and in a few minutes, it was done. Magnificient, it seemed the stone itself recognised the Prince's Aura and Strenghtened itself so as not to damage "His" Honorific Title.

What a beautfil day for the servant of the Prince.
