Chapter 110 - Chapter 112: A-Zu with perverted ideas

Bruce stepped forward, and Peter walked with him to a deserted area.

"Sir, is there a problem?"

Bruce asked him with a puzzled expression.

"Do you really like her?"

"Of course, she is the one destined for me."

Bruce said firmly, "She made me find my purpose in life, sir."

"But you don't seem to know much about her."

Peter stared into Bruce's eyes, wanting to know if Bruce was truly enchanted by her or had suddenly fallen into a love trap.

"Bruce, it's only been less than a day. You don't know her personality, her background, these things—I think you should be more cautious."

Bruce nodded, "Sir, I understand that feeling. Even though I haven't known her long, she makes me feel like I've been waiting for a long time. This feeling can't be wrong."

"So, are you still going to travel the World?"

Peter raised his eyebrows and asked him.

"About that, I think I need to consider it carefully."

Bruce frowned, saying with some difficulty.

"Is that so? Don't forget the path you initially chose, Bruce."

Peter patted his shoulder, "Humans are born alone. They don't want to face the unknown by themselves, but this craving for others is a manifestation of fear of life. People shouldn't cling to love. Only by calmly accepting their inner solitude can they become strong."

After saying that to him, Peter turned and left.

Bruce watched Peter's retreating figure, falling into an indescribable confusion.

Night.

In the Barn, after Mark and Star-Lord had fallen asleep, Peter stood in the Barn, looking up at the stars in the sky.

When he had nothing to do, he liked to come here to observe the stars.

Perhaps it was the meteor shower that sparked his interest in astronomy.

In the clear night sky, the stars twinkled brightly.

A milky-white light band, stretching across the sky from north to south, caught Peter's eye.

The white light band resembled a perpetually spinning galaxy, exuding a unique charm.

"Guardians of the Galaxy?"

He suddenly thought of the team Star-Lord belonged to in his previous life.

"Too bad, this time you won't be the King of the Galaxy."

Shaking his head, Peter dismissed the Guardians of the Galaxy from his mind, picked up a professional astronomical telescope, and observed the stars in the sky.

While observing, he suddenly heard footsteps on the wooden stairs.

Peter put down the telescope and saw Katy Vizniusky, dressed in a sexy purple dress, slowly walking towards him.

"Miss Vizniusky?"

Peter looked at the lady gracefully approaching him, frowned, and asked, "Are you here to find Bruce? He's not here."

"No."

Katy Vizniusky shook her head and smiled slightly at him, "Actually, I came to see you."

"See me?"

Peter glanced left and right and said to her, "I don't think Bruce would want to see you here, especially in the middle of the night, just you and me."

"Why do you always have to talk about him? Why not talk about you?"

Katy Vizniusky walked over, drew closer to him, and licked her sexy, fiery red lips.

"Many secrets are hidden within you, Peter, as deep and boundless as the stars. I am willing to be an explorer to delve into the starry sky."

"Uh-huh."

Peter nodded, "You like astronomy?"

He wanted to see what this woman was trying to do.

Seeing Peter playing dumb, Katy Vizniusky took another step closer to him.

Exhaling warm, seductive breath, she whispered, "I like astronomy, but I like you even more. Most girls like young boys, but I prefer mature men."

Peter frowned at her, "Am I old?"

He felt insulted.

He had only grown a beard recently to conceal his ageless ability, but surely he wasn't old?

"You're not old, you're mature. I like that feeling."

She exhaled, boldly displaying her sexiness, "Your experience is incomparable to that of young boys, even though boys possess passion."

"Is that so?"

Peter didn't expect her to be so forward.

"Earlier at the School, the first time I saw you, I was attracted to you. In fact, I hope we can strengthen our relationship."

As she spoke, she reached out to touch Peter's shoulder.

But to her surprise, the next second, Peter grabbed her arm.

"Sorry, I'm not interested in strengthening our relationship."

"What?!"

Katy Vizniusky looked in shock at Peter's hand gripping hers.

She hadn't expected him to resist her allure.

"Katy Vizniusky, five years ago, you divorced a bank president, acquiring half of his assets. That unlucky president reportedly disappeared mysteriously. After that, you became a teacher at Smallville School."

Peter released her hand and walked to the edge of the Barn.

"The strange thing is, five years ago, your file showed nothing special. Your image then was completely different from now, as if you suddenly changed into another person. It's truly strange, do people suddenly change?"

Peter said this while turning to face her, "Teacher Katy Vizniusky, can you tell me why?"

Katy Vizniusky's gaze sharpened, "You investigated me?"

"You investigated me, so why can't I investigate you?"

Katy immediately denied it, "No, I didn't."

"Then why do you say I'm full of mystery?"

"That's because..."

Katy was at a loss for words. After taking a deep breath, she said, "That's just a feeling."

Peter walked over to her and said in a calm tone, "I don't believe in feelings, Miss Vizniusky. I can give you a warning: if you don't want trouble, don't appear in front of Bruce."

"You—who exactly are you? Peter Patrick."

Katy asked with a complex expression.

"You don't need to know that."

Peter said to him, then turned and left.

Katy watched Peter's retreating figure with a gloomy expression. Only after Peter had left did the gloomy expression on her face disappear.

Exhaling the scent from her mouth, she transformed back into her previous radiant self.

The next day, early morning.

When Peter got up and went downstairs, he found that Katy Vizniusky was no longer on the farm.

"Bruce, where's your girlfriend?"

Peter asked Bruce.

"She said she had something to do and went out."

Mark, who was watching TV nearby, suddenly said to Bruce in a sinister tone, "She doesn't like you, Bruce."

Bruce: "?!"

He looked at Mark in astonishment, "What did you say?"

"I said, she doesn't like you at all. Didn't you notice?"

Bruce immediately walked in front of Mark and glared at him, "Shut up!"

"What? Are you angry because I'm telling the truth?"

Mark stood up and confronted Bruce.

"I can see it. She only likes your money and wealth. She's not interested in an immature guy like you at all."

Bruce, angered by Mark, was about to grab his clothes, but then he remembered that Mark was a superhuman.

Mark, unmoving, continued to provoke him: "I even think she likes Dad more."

"But if she wants to be my mom, I'd disagree a hundred percent."

Seeing Mark getting more and more out of line, Peter immediately interrupted him, "Hey, John!"

Hearing Peter's displeased voice, Mark immediately changed his arrogant demeanor and showed Peter a harmless expression, "Dad, I'm just teaching Bruce some dating experience."

"Dating experience?"

Peter looked at him suspiciously, "What dating experience do you have?"

"Experience of failed relationships, Dad. The girls at School don't really like me, which means if I were to ask them out, they definitely wouldn't agree. That's failed experience."

Mark said earnestly.

"No, that's not failed relationship experience, John. That's just failed life experience."

Peter retorted to Mark, then looked at Bruce.

"Don't mind Mark's words, Bruce."

"But..."

"Remember what we talked about earlier, Bruce? Calmly accepting your solitude is a sign of strength."

Bruce nodded, his eyes a little bewildered.

Mark, standing nearby, his eyes lit up when he heard that.

So, being unpopular with girls was a sign of strength, as his father said!

After Bruce left, Peter asked Mark, "You saw what happened in the Barn last night, didn't you?"

Mark immediately looked guilty and avoided eye contact with Peter, "No, Dad, I didn't see anything."

"You can't lie to me, John."

"Okay, I saw it, Dad, but it wasn't on purpose."

Mark claimed he overheard and peeked accidentally, "I originally wanted to go talk to Dad, but I happened to run into Teacher Katy there."

"Dad, you don't like her, right?"

"Why do you ask?"

"That's too bad."

Mark had a very regretful expression.

"Regret what?"

Peter looked at him suspiciously, "What mischief are you plotting?"

"No, I was just thinking..."

Mark hesitated for a moment, then finally voiced his thoughts.

"If you, Dad, were to steal Bruce's girlfriend and make Bruce call her Mom, I think that would be really cool!"

Peter: "?!"

He paused, then looked at him.

When did this brat become so perverse?

Had he been too lenient with this kid before, causing him to become increasingly reckless?

After Mark said that, he immediately realized he had stepped on a landmine.

Seeing Peter about to explode, he quickly admitted his mistake.

"I'm sorry, Dad, I was just joking."

No sooner had he finished speaking than the telephone rang on the farm.

Peter, not bothering to deal with Mark, walked to the phone and picked it up.

After listening to the other party for a few sentences, his expression became quite grim.

The suspect in the spontaneous human combustion case was Katy?!
