Death came so quickly that he barely had time to understand it. He was crossing the street, distracted, when the roar of an engine came too close—then everything turned into a white flash followed by deep, suffocating silence. He felt no pain, heard no voices, saw no glowing tunnel like people described. He simply ceased to exist… until he began to feel again.

He woke up with a hard thud against a cold floor. Air rushed into his lungs—icy, rough—like they were brand new. He opened his eyes and saw a metallic ceiling with dim, flickering lights. He tried to sit up, and the sensation was wrong: his body was small, too light. When he looked at his hands, the shock hit instantly. They were thin, pale, fragile—like the hands of a child.

Sliding over to a steel panel that acted as a makeshift mirror, he examined his reflection. White hair, lavender eyes, pale skin, a young face. He recognized it immediately, as if he had been expecting it.

"No way…" he whispered with a voice that wasn't his— the voice of a child.

He was Code.

His mind flooded with mixed memories: the accident, his life on Earth, the countless hours watching Naruto and Boruto, the pain of his final moment. And alongside that, the canon memories: Code, Kara, Jigen, Amado, the experiments, the White Karma… and the pathetic fate that awaited him.

But that fate would not be his.

Not this time.

The hiss of an automatic door broke the silence, forcing him to react. A white hallway lit up as firm footsteps approached. Instinctively, he tensed. He knew exactly who would appear—and he was right.

Amado stopped in front of him with his usual analytical expression, as if evaluating a machine that had just been repaired.

"You're awake," he said, adjusting his glasses. "Jigen wants to see you."

The boy's heart jolted. He was truly here—inside Kara—at the moment when Code was thirteen, just before the experiments that would shape his entire life. He took a deep breath, hiding the mixture of fear and determination burning within him.

"I'm ready," he replied.

He walked beside Amado through the sterile halls of the base. Every step reminded him that he had no trained chakra, no jutsu, no real strength. He was just a child facing monsters disguised as men.

But he had something none of them could imagine: knowledge of the future.

He knew who would betray whom, which experiments were coming, Kara's weaknesses, Jigen's fate… and above all, he knew that the original Code never reached the greatness he desired.

I won't repeat that mistake, he thought as he walked.

I won't be a servant.

I won't be manipulated.

I won't be humiliated.

I will surpass them all: Jigen, Isshiki, Kawaki… and any Otsutsuki that appears.

Finally, they entered a large circular chamber. In the center, seated as though he ruled the world, was Jigen. His golden eyes fell upon him with almost physical weight.

"Code," he said in a deep voice. "You finally awaken."

Despite the pressure, the boy didn't shrink back. Inside him burned a silent fury—a rebellion his small body couldn't fully hide. Even so, he bowed his head with calculated respect.

"I am here, Lord Jigen."

A faint smile curved the leader of Kara's lips.

"Today, your destiny will change."

Code also smiled inwardly—but not for the reason Jigen believed.

Yes, his destiny would change.

But not because of Jigen.

Not because of Amado.

It would change because he himself had chosen to rewrite it from scratch.

That was the day his new life began.

The day he was reborn as Code.

The day he swore to become a monster so powerful that not even the Otsutsuki gods could bind him again.
