In a desolate part of the Verdan dessert. Three travellers encountered a strange quicksand falling before their eyes.
"wow this is crazy. Hurry everyone it seems there's a hollow space bellow."
" Here we go again. Fred's curiosity dragging us again in a dangerous place. This doesn't feels good don't you think Froilan?"
" What's the problem Quin. We've survived till this day. Nothing can stop us-"
The sand beneath their foot also collapsed. Dragging them bellow of what seems to be an ancient structure, buried beneath the sand.
"Everyone, are you alright?"
"Froilan, you seems alright I can see, but fred. He seems to be in need of some piggy back."
" hehe- this place really looks-ouch my back, old. Can we explore after we rest for a bit?"
After a while of rest. They ventured deep into the bunker. They noticed that most of the places they passed through seems all cramped, full of rusty metal poles and skeletal empty rotten beds.
Fred then came to a conclusion that this place might be a prison.
After hours of searching they only found remains of the previous inmates. They decided to rest on a spacious place they thought to be the guard's resting area.
" seems like this journey doesn't have trill in it. I missed reading books. If fred didn't sell those books that I brought."
" In travelling, all kinds of unexpected situation might happen. This experience might gave us lesson. Just bear with it Quin. Also we didn't got much money from our previous commission so we need to sell some stuff."

Fred kicked the wall then it collapsed revealing a hidden path. the torches suddenly light up revealing that this area contains high level mana stones, hinting that strong creatures have been locked here before.
They decided to go back to this place after they reported to the central command office. Before Quin and Froilan move, Fred jumped down to the hidden path. the other doesn't have any other choice than to follow specially Fred are just a scholar and doesn't have any combat capabilities.
Deep into the bunker. A crimson eyes light up. A beast had woken inside a cell.
While walking they suddenly heard chains from a cell behind them. Froilan and Quin prepared for combat then a growl echoed from the path ahead.
The chains resounded again and louder. Since the chains are near they decided to ran ahead to avoid combat.
When they gone far away the cell before them suddenly explodes. Revealing a massive creature.
"W-whats that. I thought it's just a giant groubal"
(Groubal is a human like creature with long ears and green skin. Their size are that of a kid but other evolved, becoming larger than a human, they're called giant groubal.)
" Friends this thing looks tough. I think my magic can't harm it. I better say good-"
The creature before them dash towards them. before they can react, a sound of chain came rushing and a voice of a child girl can be heard.
"Stop saying nonsense human. This beast were already weakened. Its easy to subdue."
She kicked it hard that it flew out. she quickly follow it then disappeared before they can even do anything.
Jaw dropped and a stunned gaze left on their faces.
"Could that be an ancient guard we've been investigating Quin?"
" I'm not sure either. Her clothes seems ragged and doesn't resembles any knightly attire"
The girl arrives dragging the fire hēi- dàn.
She asked what year it is then they said it's 472 years after the beihedial era ended and 98,463 years when the official calendar started.
They noticed that who they talking to was a child, Long ear and has a strong mana resonance. Fred asked if she might be creature from legend called Elfiras. Creatures that has long ears and has a long span of life. she hesitated before agreeing. Learning that her existence already became a dying legend.
This Elfira sensed something and shouted them to hurriedly escape but before they can reach the entrance. The whole facility collapsed. Burying what's left of it on sand.
