Chapter 30 - 29- Beach episode gone wrong

Devils were not limited by human laws, the boundaries of nations was rather irrelevant to them.

When a noble devil decides that he wants to visit somewhere, there isn't a need of passport, visa, flight or anything at all.

A simple teleportation spell, and a desire to travel was enough. So, without wasting much time, the very next day after the decision was made, the entire group moved to Bali.

Magdaran realized two things the moment they arrived in Bali.

First, buying an entire private island was an excellent decision.

Second, he had severely underestimated how loud his devils could get when the word vacation was involved.

The teleport ended smoothly, space folding back into place with barely a ripple as warm sunlight washed over them. White sand stretched endlessly beneath a sky so blue it almost felt artificial.

The ocean shimmered ahead, shallow near the shore and deepening into a rich sapphire farther out, waves rolling lazily as if even the sea had decided to relax today.

Behind them, the island rose gently, dense with greenery. Tall palms, thick jungle, stone pathways leading toward modern villas hidden cleverly among the trees. No cities. No tourists. No prying eyes.

Just sea, sun, and silence.

For exactly three seconds.

"Ohhhhhh my god."

Rias stood frozen, eyes wide, lips parted slightly as she took it all in.

"You bought an entire island," she said slowly.

Magdaran stretched his arms, breathing in the salty air. "Technically, I bought the right to be left alone."

Akeno smiled, looking around appreciatively. "Ara. That is quite romantic."

Kuroka was already gone.

She reappeared mid-sprint, bolting past them with a whoop of excitement, tail flicking wildly behind her.

"BEACH BEACH BEACH BEACH."

She dove straight into the shallow water, creating a splash large enough to soak Shirone, who had been standing quietly nearby.

Shirone blinked once, wiped seawater off her face, and calmly stepped forward.

"…Idiot."

Magdaran chuckled. "She waited longer than I expected."

Scáthach stood beside him, her gaze fixed on the horizon. She was quiet, but not stiff. Just observant. The open sky, the endless ocean, the absence of enemies. It was clearly not an environment she was used to.

"This place feels undefended," she said after a moment.

"That's the point," Magdaran replied. "Nothing here is supposed to try killing you."

She considered that. "Strange. Still, you should set up some wards."

"Meh, it's unnecessary. But if you say so, I would set up some basic ones." Magdaran shrugged.

The sand was warm but not burning, soft beneath their feet. Each step left a shallow imprint that the tide erased moments later. The breeze carried the scent of salt and greenery, light and clean, nothing heavy or oppressive about it.

Elegant wooden structures dotted the beach, open-air pavilions with white curtains swaying lazily. Lounge chairs waited beneath large umbrellas. Tables had already been prepared with drinks, fruit, and towels.

No servant hovered nearby. They knew better.

Magdaran rolled his shoulders. "Alright. Change time."

Kuroka instantly appeared beside him, eyes sparkling. "Bikinis?"

"Yes."

"GOOD."

She vanished again.

Rias glanced at him. "You planned this."

"Of course I planned this."

She flushed. "You're awful."

"You love me."

She muttered something under her breath and turned toward the villas.

After almost 20 minutes of waiting, the girls finally started returning.

Rias returned first.

She wore a crimson bikini that matched her hair almost perfectly, elegant and restrained rather than flashy. Thin gold accents traced the edges, subtle enough to feel noble instead of decorative. A light wrap hung loosely around her waist, swaying with each step as she approached.

She crossed her arms immediately.

"Do not stare."

Magdaran smiled openly. "I am physically incapable of obeying that request."

Her cheeks reddened. "Idiot."

But she did not step away.

Akeno followed shortly after, adjusting the ribbon of her sunhat.

Her bikini was a deep, rich purple, cut in a way that was confident without being excessive. A sheer cover rested loosely over her shoulders, more suggestion than concealment. She moved like she belonged anywhere she stood, smiling softly when she noticed Magdaran looking.

"Ara. You seem very pleased."

"I am experiencing inner peace," he replied.

Kuroka burst out of the villa next.

Dark black bikini. Golden ribbons tied at her hips. Very Kuroka like.

She spun once, arms wide. "MAG-CHAN LOOK."

"I am looking."

She nodded seriously. "Good."

Shirone stepped out more quietly behind her, wearing a simple white and teal swimsuit. Practical. Clean. Comfortable. She stood near Kuroka but far enough to avoid collateral chaos.

Then Scáthach emerged.

The conversation stopped.

Her bikini was dark violet, simple in design, with clean lines and no unnecessary decoration. It did not try to draw attention, yet somehow did exactly that. She stood straight, posture relaxed, eyes calm and alert.

She looked… natural.

Like this was not out of place, just unfamiliar.

She glanced down at herself briefly. "This attire offers little protection."

Magdaran nodded. "That is considered a feature."

Rias shot him a look sharp enough to cut steel.

Scáthach tilted her head slightly. "I see."

Next to emerge was Kuisha, with bright yellow bikini covering her .

There was a slight flush on her face, being watched by Magdaran in a bikini.

"You look beautiful, Kuisha." Magdaran complimented with a smile.

"T...Thank you, Mag-sama." Kuisha replied, her blush a shade deeper.

Diana and Valerie stepped out together.

Diana with a clean, white bikini, which sat annoyingly well on her bronze skin, her slightly muscular abs along with her curvy, sporty body offering a delight to the eye.

"How do I look, bad guy? Are you finally unable to control your urges and ready to pounce on me right here?" Diana said with a smirk.

"Hmm, I am seriously considering that. Why, do you want me to ravage you?" Magdaran asked with a smile, clearly unbothered by her teasing.

"Oh, well, it's not like I could resist much if a big bad super devil decided to relieve his urges on me~" Diana teased back.

"You look beautiful, Diana-chan." Magdaran chuckled and dismissed her, unwilling to continue down that line of sex-chat straight out of a girl's romance novel.

Valerie, the shy one of the group, had unexpectedly dressed in a black and red bikini, semi transparent, with a net like structure, very vampire like.

"Oh my, rather bold choice, Valerie-chan. A hot gothic bikini on your cute self looks unexpectedly enticing." Magdaran commented with interest, unknowingly, he had picked up some traces of teasing from Akeno and Kuroka.

"I...if you like it, I can dress like this every day, Mag-san." Valerie smiled beautifully.

"A very interesting offer, Valerie-chan. I would expect a personal bikini show everyday then." Magdaran chuckled.

"Ne Ne, I will do it everyday too, Mag-chan!! both with and without bikini, just for you!~" Kuroka shouted loudly, sending blushes to the face of many women present.

"Ara Ara, I would not mind as well, Mag-chan~" Akeno giggled.

"Heh, I would also do it for you, but you would have to select bikinis for me everyday. Selecting them myself is a chore." Diana joined in the fun.

"If that is what Mag-sama orders... I will never hesitate." Kuisha said with a deep blush, her face turning as red as Rias's hair.

"What?! No, I will be the one doing that first! He is my fiancee!" Rias shouted.

"Hmm, as your queen, I suppose I won't mind doing so either, if it pleases you." Scathach said with a small smirk.

"Although it is kind of given as devils, I just want to remind you guys that you are all going to hell. The very deepest pits of it." Shirone commented with a serious face.

"Nya, don't worry, Shirone-chan. You will grow up very soon, and grow big boobs just like me, then you can also give Mag-chan a proper bikini show, no need for getting jealous." Kuroka laughed boisterously as she said that,

And her words led the entire group to laugh out loud, ending the weird situation going on.

"I...I don't want to give a bikini show! You Perverts!" Shirone shouted with a blushing face.

Magdaran in the meanwhile, sat in silence, slightly worried. He had used far too much luck today, with such benefits unexpectedly falling on him. According to common human myths, bad luck would follow soon enough.

He should probably make the security higher, since he felt someone trying to sense the presences on the island not long ago.

Anyways, moving back to the girls,

Rias and Akeno claimed lounge chairs near the water. As Akeno seductively enticed Magdaran, "Mag-chan, could you please help us apply body lotion~, you won't want your poor little mistress to get tanning, would you?"

"Sure. And Rias, you seem to need some lotion too. As your fiancee, it is my duty to help you with that." Magdaran chuckled as he walked towards the two girls.

Kuroka ran back and forth between sand and sea. Despite being the second oldest of the group, she was easily the most naughty one. And unlike normal cats, this naughty one didn't seem to mind water covering her.

Shirone sat under an umbrella, quietly enjoying shaved ice.

Scathach in the meantime, looked unsure of what to do, after all, she was not quite used to scenes like these.

"Scathach. Come here. You are next in line for the lotion, don't just stand there in the sun." Magdaran noticing her awkwardness decided to order her what to do.

"Ara ara, Mag-chan, it would seem you somehow managed to snag a queen who doesn't understand living, just like you. Quite the pair you two make." Akeno chuckled.

"Now now, I am almost a master at it now. And I am certain I can train Scathach to be at the same level soon." Magdaran dismissed her words.

"Heh, Blind leading the blind." Akeno taunted.

"Ahnnnn!" And she moaned, because as a punishment for her words, Magdaran decided to give her a pinch right on her nipples.

"Oh my, how naughty, Mag chan. If you wish, I can remove my bikini right now for you to have better access." Akeno said with a blush.

"Oh, and what makes you think I need your permission to do that, my little bishop. You are, quite literally, my possession to do with as I please. And say another word, and you are getting spanked until you finally disperse your evil desires." Magdaran teased her back.

He has had years of training by now, and no naughty girl, even if it were Akeno, could tease him anymore. He is immune to it now. At least, that's what he thinks.

"Ahhnnn stop! Mag-chan, I can only get so wet~. If you continue saying words like that, I might cum right here." Akeno moaned.

"You are hopeless..." Magdaran sighed.

"Ughh, just be done with that perverted bitch, and start applying lotion on me, I am tired waiting and hearing her disgusting ramblings!" Rias said loudly.

"Now now, little princess, unless you want a good set of spanking too, I would suggest you wait very patiently until your turn arrives." Magdaran chuckled.

"W...what?" Rias stammered with a blush.

Scathach who arrived at this time looked at the three with amusement.

"Enjoying the show, my queen?" Magdaran chuckled and asked Scathach.

"Oh, very. Much more interesting than the beach." Scathach laughed.

"Then, obediently lie down on that chair right there, or you would also be getting spanked. No special treatment for you just because you are a queen." Magdaran smirked as he teased her.

"Hmm, if that is what my king wants, then what can I do? After all, you have already defeated me in battle, not like I could win against you." Scathach sighed playfully.

"Exactly. Resistance is pointless." Magdaran said as grabbed her ass guiding her towards her chair.

Then, done with Akeno, he moved to Rias, "Enjoying yourself?, my wife."

"Umu, a proper beach episode, you have done well, dear husband." Rias giggled.

"Glad to serve then. There's more sun awaiting the night." Magdaran said softly as his hands caressed her body.

"Oh, am I to assume that we are finally taking that step tonight? Well, I have always been ready~" Rias laughed softly.

Magdaran did not choose to reply, rather before he could, a voice interrupted them.

"Mind if I join the line, Bad guy. Oh, and if you guys are talking about finally having sex. Then I can only say, That it's about damn time." It was Diana. the lioness of Rias's peerage.

"Diana-chan, suddenly I feel the urge to become even worse than the bad guy in your words. Now, if you care about the well being of your arse, I would recommend you scram off as far and as fast as possible." Magdaran said with a twitchingly angry face, he was having a serious conversation as this naughty feline interrupted him.

"Tchh threatening everyone about their ass, you sure you don't have a severe Ass fetish, You evil Butt super devil." Diana grumbled.

"Diana! Please be quiet, or I will be the one helping him tie you up before he spanks, no, canes you!" Rias shouted annoyed.

The ramblings had somehow attracted every woman present to approach them.

"Nya, you are in for a long workout, Mag-chan~" Kuroka chuckled as she joined Magdaran with the rest of the ladies, except Shirone. Who was still muttering about being surrounded by perverts.

"Oh? It would seem you heavily underestimate a Super Devil's stamina if you think this counts as a workout." Magdaran shot back with a roll of his eyes.

"Nya? Then what if I blow you the entire time you explore our bodies with your greedy hands?" Kuroka said seductively.

"Shut up and lie down peacefully you perverted cat." Magdaran said annoyed and the entire group burst into laughter.

Meanwhile, as everyone was having fun,

-Swarga-

The court of Swarga was restless.

Indra sat upon his throne, fingers resting lightly against his Vajra.

The king of Swarga was not angry.

That was what relieved everyone present.

A lesser god knelt at the foot of the dais, head lowered so deeply his forehead touched the floor.

"My lord," he said carefully, "the target's location has been confirmed."

Indra did not respond immediately.

Lightning crawled faintly along the veins of his weapon.

"Where?" Indra finally said.

"An island near Bali," the god replied. "A private island. The presence matches the same entity from the dimensional erasure incident. Although we were unable to get visual cues due to the wards present, it was undoubtedly him."

Indra's eyes narrowed slightly.

"So he chose to appear in a land of our Pantheon?" he murmured.

Another deity spoke up, hesitant. "It may not have been intentional, my lord. Reports indicate recreational activity. There were no surges of energy at all."

Indra laughed.

Not loudly or cruelly.

A short, incredulous sound.

"Recreation," he repeated. "On land protected by my pantheon."

He rose from his throne.

The sound of thunder followed him instinctively.

"This devil," Indra continued, voice calm but heavy, "carries power that mirrors Shiva's destruction itself. That alone makes him my concern."

A pause.

"And now," Indra added, "he parades openly beneath my sky."

He lifted Vajra.

The air cracked.

"I will see him myself."

The gods bowed instantly as the king of Swarga stepped forward.

The clouds split.

Lightning swallowed him whole. As he mounted on his mount, Airavat, the White Elephant of Swarga.

-Bali-

The first thing that changed was the wind.

It stopped.

The ocean, which had been gently rolling moments ago, stilled unnaturally, waves freezing mid-motion as if the world itself had drawn a breath.

Magdaran frowned.

Scáthach felt it next.

She straightened slowly, eyes lifting toward the sky.

"This is not natural," she said quietly.

He had felt it too.

Pressure.

Not malicious.

Not hostile.

But one of an absolute kind.

The sky darkened abruptly, clouds rolling in from every direction, blotting out the sun in seconds. Thunder rumbled, not distant, but close enough to vibrate through bone.

Rias shivered. "What is that?"

Akeno's smile vanished, replaced with something sharper, along with a trace of fear. "Divine presence."

Lightning split the sky.

Once.

Twice.

Then the third bolt did not strike the ground.

It stopped.

Hanging in the air.

And from within it, a figure descended.

The air screamed as he arrived, sand lifting violently from the beach, waves crashing suddenly as if released from a spell.

He landed upon the shore.

Tall.

Broad-shouldered.

Clad in white and gold, skin faintly glowing, eyes like storm clouds holding centuries of command.

Vajra rested in his hand.

A massive Elephant behind him, floating in the sky.

Indra, King of Swarga, looked around calmly.

Then his gaze locked onto Magdaran.

"So," Indra said, voice carrying effortlessly across the beach, "you are the devil."

The pressure intensified.

Shirone instinctively stepped back.

Diana's axe instantly appeared in her hands.

Kuroka swallowed hard. "Mag-chan… that guy feels bad."

Rias moved in front of Magdaran without thinking. "Who are you?"

Indra's gaze flicked to her briefly, then back.

"A Maou's sister," he noted. "Interesting."

Magdaran stepped forward, placing a hand gently on Rias's shoulder.

"It's fine," he said calmly. Though inwardly, he was just as perplexed.

What kind of sick joke was this? He had just went out on a vacation, in a island pretty much far away from any major Pantheon, and a God King of the strongest pantheon somehow managed to target him.

God kings were not figures who acted easily... So, yes... This whole scenario was messed up and unexpected.

He met Indra's eyes.

"I was wondering when someone would show up. But I surely wasn't expecting you. God King Indra."

Thunder roared.

Indra's eyebrow lifted slightly. "So you were already expecting attacks?"

"You don't erase dimensions and vacation quietly." Magdaran replied. "Someone was bound to get annoyed. Though, I figured my strength would be a deterrence enough."

Scáthach stepped up beside him, aura restrained but unmistakable.

Indra's gaze sharpened.

"The Godslayer witch," he said. "Reborn as a devil. I was right to be intrigued."

Scáthach did not bow. "You're louder than I expected."

A few lesser gods watching from the clouds stiffened.

Indra laughed softly. "You have spirit."

His gaze returned to Magdaran.

"You resemble him," Indra said. "Not in form. In presence."

Magdaran tilted his head. "I don't know who you are talking about."

Lightning flared.

Indra took a step forward.

"Tell me, devil," he said, "did you come here ignorant of whose land this is, or simply unconcerned?"

Magdaran looked around the beach.

The sand.

The sea.

His peerage behind him.

Then he shrugged.

"Honestly," he said, "I just wanted a vacation."

Silence fell.

Then, unexpectedly, Indra laughed.

A deep, booming laugh that rolled with the thunder.

"You are either fearless," Indra said, "or unbearably arrogant."

"Maybe a bit of both, but I am by no means, weak. So, whatever you are here for, will not be accomplished." Magdaran replied.

Rias glanced between them. "Magdaran…"

He lifted a hand gently. "It's okay."

Indra studied him for a long moment.

The pressure did not increase.

But it did not fade either.

"You carry destruction that echoes Shiva," Indra said slowly. "That makes you dangerous."

Magdaran nodded. "Oh, and who decided that?"

"You stand beneath my sky," Indra continued with a smirk, unbothered by his words. "That makes you accountable."

Magdaran smiled faintly.

"Then let's talk," he said. "Preferably without turning a beach episode into a war."

Scáthach blinked. "Beach episode?"

Indra's lips twitched.

"Very well," the king of Swarga said. "Talk. Let's see if you can convince me enough to survive this day. After all, I am not someone who can't listen to words like some brute without brains."

Thunder rolled again, but softer this time.

And for the first time since arriving, Indra's grip on Vajra loosened slightly.

The next few words would decide whether there would be a fight between two beings who stood at the pinnacle of the world, counted amongst the Top 10 strongest beings.
