Tony Stark's face grew even more purple. If he hadn't known that after what happened just now he could never be Lu Yi's opponent, he would've torn off the armor already.
Tony Stark had promised to tell Lu Yi why the flowers were so red.
Helpless, Tony Stark could only obey Lu Yi's command and let go of his hand.
"Fragments scattered everywhere!"
Guided by his ultra-x-ray vision, Lu Yi cast a levitation spell on the fragments inside the bloody hole in Tony Stark's chest.
Before Tony could react, something suddenly emerged from the hole. He quickly lowered his head and saw a few tiny, nearly invisible shards flying out of his chest and into Lu Yi's palm.
Tony Stark immediately recognized what they were.
These were the very things that had forced him to keep an arc reactor in his chest, poisoning him and preventing him from saving himself.
A rush of joy surged through Tony Stark's heart.
These were the reason he couldn't remove the reactor.
Now that they were all removed, it meant he could fully recover—no more device in his chest, no more worrying that the shrapnel might enter his organs and kill him.
"Worth every penny! Worth every penny!" Tony Stark couldn't help but cry. It hadn't been easy.
From life to death, from death back to life—Tony Stark had experienced it all, and in the end, he was safe.
As for the palladium poisoning?
That was no longer a problem. The source of the toxin was gone, meaning he would not be poisoned again, and the palladium level in his blood would no longer rise.
