Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: You just figured it out?

He took his clothes into the restroom, and the warm water washing over him dispelled the day's fatigue. This was an extreme luxury, whether in the Snape family home or during the apocalypse.

But Thomas had no mind to enjoy it. He muttered, "If I hadn't come to this world, Thomas would no longer exist, and then Professor Snape... that is Severus."

The one who always appeared with a cold, harsh face in the world of "Harry Potter," and was the Professor most feared and disliked by the protagonist Harry during his studies at Hogwarts.

His sarcastic words and unpredictable behavior kept people at a distance.

He even murdered the greatest white wizard, whom everyone respected, and was a notorious Death Eater.

It wasn't until the last moment of Snape's life that people discovered he was a double agent for Lord Voldemort.

He carried heavy secrets and sacrifices, walking alone in the darkness, all to protect the deep love he held for Harry's mother.

He drew countless tears from readers and remains one of the most memorable characters in the book.

Thomas searched through his past life's memories for content about the original "Harry Potter" novel, piecing together Severus Snape's life from bits and pieces—an invincible, long-suffering NPC!

Looking at his sleeping brother, who was so adorable, would he really become the person described in the book?

He thought that if he came to the world of "Harry Potter," he only needed to stay away from the protagonist, keep a low profile, and not participate in any form of struggle, and he should be able to survive until the end.

But now it seemed he had come to the world of Harry Potter's father, a period that only existed in the oral accounts and memories of those in the book, the darkest time in the Wizarding World.

And his brother would be swept along by fate, living a tragic and short life.

How could that be!

Since he had come, he must change Severus's fate. The shackles woven by the shadow of Lord Voldemort, Dumbledore's expectations, and his own inner struggles, it was time for them to be completely broken.

"Lord Voldemort or Dumbledore, whoever dares to disturb our lives, let them feel what it's like to hit a brick wall."

Thomas was very confident about this because Severus was only 7 years old now, and Harry Potter's birth was at least a decade away. This time was enough for him to cultivate his abilities to their peak again, and what's more, his current body could learn magic, he would become even stronger than before!

At the Nurse's advice, he obediently lay down beside his brother. This was Thomas's request; he was afraid Severus would be scared by the unfamiliar environment when he woke up tomorrow.

This was the best night's sleep Thomas had since coming to this world, because St Mungo's was constantly warm, completely unaffected by the hot summer, and the bed was covered with a thick, soft mattress—it was incredibly comfortable!

"Thomas... Thomas... wake up quickly." A faint voice sounded in the sleeping Thomas's ear. He closed his eyes and frowned, "Severus... stop it, I haven't slept enough yet."

"Thomas, I'm scared." The little boy's voice was already tearful, dispelling all of Thomas's sleepiness.

He immediately opened his eyes, his gaze sharp and alert: "What's wrong!"

Severus immediately covered Thomas's mouth and whispered, "It seems we've been locked up."

Thomas didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He pried open his brother's small hand: "This is St Mungo's, the hospital of the magic world, Severus. You had a severe magic outburst last night. Mr. Moody helped us and brought you here for treatment."

"St Mungo's, a wizard hospital?" The fear in Severus's eyes faded, replaced by curiosity.

"Where's Mum?"

"..." Thomas was speechless. After a moment's thought, he said, "Mum has to stay with Dad. She doesn't have time to come with us. I'll take care of you."

A hint of disappointment flashed across Severus's face, but it was also what he expected.

In fact, being precocious, he was more perceptive than Thomas imagined. He had long realized that in Eileen's heart, neither of them could compare to Tobias.

"Children, are you awake?" A polite knock came from the door.

Thomas recognized it as Nurse Cully's voice: "Yes, Miss Cully."

The door opened, and Cully pushed in a small cart filled with potion bottles: "It's time for your potion."

She handed different potions to the two brothers: "Breakfast is at nine in the morning, lunch at twelve noon, and dinner at five in the evening. I hope you don't miss them."

Thomas drank his potion while looking at the clock. It was only a few seconds before nine: "Where do we eat?"

The moment the minute hand reached nine, a tray appeared on the bedside cabinet. Okay, he now knew where to eat.

Two glasses of milk, some slices of bread, and several different flavors of jam to choose from, it was quite a spread.

Cully frowned as she looked at the two skinny young wizards, adding, "If it's not enough, you can go to the kitchen yourselves. Just bow to the guard at the corner of the second floor."

Thomas knew this must be a privilege for these medical staff. He said gratefully, "Thank you very much, Miss Cully."

"You're welcome, child. You can go to the small park downstairs to get some sun. It will be good for you." She instructed again, with a mother's patience.

"Okay, we will," Thomas replied with a smile.

The medical staff at St Mungo's were very patient and friendly.

They were filled with sympathy and care for these two young wizards who had suffered family harm.

Severus had never received so much kindness. In his interactions with the medical staff, he finally showed some of the liveliness and cuteness a young wizard should possess.

In just a few days, with good food, drink, sleep, and the conditioning of the potions, Thomas and his brother's complexions quickly lost their sallow hue, and they gained some weight, finally looking like healthy children.

And this also meant that they no longer needed treatment and could be discharged.

Moody had already arranged a foster family for them for one month.

Unless Eileen applied to the Ministry of Magic for a hearing.

Providing evidence and reasons to prove that she could provide good care for her two children in the future, only then would she be able to take them home in a shorter period of time.

Hogsmeade Village, a purely wizard settlement. The foster family that accepted Thomas lived in this village.

This time, Thomas refused Moody, who wanted to hold his hand: "Please, sir, no Apparition!"

"..." These little brats are really troublesome!
