The sun shines at Mr Parkers mansion located in Ben's city, he was in the living room about to leave when his beautiful daughter with her stunning night wear approached him and greeted " good morning "which he smiled to and replied with a slight nod before adding
" good morning damsel " he replied
" dad, final grade is resuming next week, I already discussed this with you and you said I should remind you when it's close "sofy mumbled in between her glowing smile
" oh about that, what school is that again "he asked rubbing back of his neck trying to remember because his daughter had been reminding him
" Thelma's high "she replied
" oh, tell your mom to take you there today and get your admission " He said
" okay dad thanks "she said as she grabbed her father's neck for a hug
" why do you want to change school even " He asked
" I don't like my old school "She muttered slowly
" alright then, I'll be late for work see you around dear "he said as he left after hearing " bye dad " from his daughter.
Hours later….
Sofy and her mom entered their car and drove to Thelma's high, they waited for a while before getting Sofy admitted since they were so many parents and their kids who also came for the admission. Thelma's Academy seems to be the best in Ben's city.
It was the first day of school, Sofy walked into Thelma's high with her glowing smile and brown skin, she was wearing the Thelma's T- shirt with a mini skirt and a white long socks with black low shoes. She entered the school's compound and her eyes darted to the direction of two boys who were gisting while walking to their class, she was so amused by their gorgeous looks she prayed they'd be friends with her since they actually entered same class she was going enter. She gazed at them as they walked through the entrance to the hall way then finally got to the class, she got into her class and was staring at everyone in astonishment the classroom was wide and spacious with beautiful decorations, she'd prefer Thelma's high hundred times than her old school. She was still in same spot where everyone gaze started meeting hers, she stood there for some time before taking a stroll inside, she wasn't with her ID so she didn't know where to sit, she strolled inside as a light skinned slim figure girl approached her direction and hold her hands to a desk saying
" hi I'm Mandy, Mrs Ann asked me to give you this "stretching her ID to her, Sofy looked at the girl in surprise then thought to herself ' who's mrs Ann' she sighed deeply inside before guessing it was the bookshop manager
" thanks " she muttered with a quick smile as Mandy also smiled back
" so this is your desk and I'm your desk mate" Mandy said as Sofy quickly gave a nod and a smile then continued staring at the class, she stared at a particular desk for a long time with a smile on her face, Mandy noticed the desk she was staring at then said
" that's Melvin Eliot and Max Williams, they're the tops of our class "Sofy smiled then turned to the other side
" that's Capri Paxton no one dares to mess with her, and over there is Reina Adams no one dares to mess with her "Mandy added
" are they like a bully or something ..." Sofy asked
" they're worse than bullies, they're just bunch of spoilt brat who gains pleasure in hurting others, Reina's mom own the school while Capri's dad is a shareholder in this school" Mandy replied as Sofy gasped astonishingly
" that's Louis Visa, he's kinda a weirdo but I don't see him that way cuz he's nice "Mandy added
" he looks cool as fuck ...…." Sofy was saying when the English teacher entered the class, he was wearing a grey suit and green pants with white shoes holding his bag that looks like a briefcase, adjusting his glasses now and then, he stared at all the female students with the eyes of a vampire who's hungry for blood, he looked like a pedophile
" Good morning class, I'm Mr Mark your new English teacher for this session "he said soon as he adjusted his glasses
" Good morning Mr mark "The class sang
" my number one rule is; my assignment should always be submitted to my office and it should be submitted individually, before we start today I'll be pointing at some few people to get their names "He said as he adjusted his glasses then pointed his fingers to Capri and Sofy
" I'm Capri Paxton " Capri said boldly as she sat down
" I'm Sofy Parkers "Sofy said slowly as Mr mark romantically winks his eyes at her which made her sat down angrily 'what is wrong with this man, wbu does my instinct tells me he's a pedophile, I don't just like his vibes' Sofy thought to herself after the wink bitting her fingers
" wow, such beautiful names for beautiful ladies like you "Mr mark said then noticed the quick blushing smile on Capri's face and the sudden frown that had appear on Sofy's face.
Mr mark suddenly started teaching, his lecture wasn't that bad but the way he stared at the female student like a hungry wolf.
During lunch break, Everyone had gone to the Cafeteria except Sofy she was in the class trying to fit in when she suddenly stood up and as she was going outside she bumped into one of the guys she met when entering the class, she quickly met with his smiling face then uttered " sorry " for about three times
" it's fine, I'm Max " he said as he stretched his hands to her she grabbed it and muttered " Sofy " before hurriedly freeing herself from the handshake then ran towards the cafeteria.
She entered the Cafeteria then quickly went to serve her food, she held the tray of food walking to see a quiet spot to sit when she sighted Louis the guy Mandy called a weirdo the other time, he was reading a big book and sipping a glass of juice, she walked towards his table then said
" Hi, do you mind if I join you "she said but there was no reply from him then she added
" Louis right "as she looked at his ID
" what do you want ? "he asked nonchalantly
" I just wanna have lunch with you "
" sure "
" wanna be cool friends "
" sure "

Max was inside the classroom as his thoughts drifted back to the girl who bumped into him earlier, was it a dream ? He thought.
He stared at the direction she went through again and said " no I'm not hallucinating "
He walked to her desk as he found her note book, he looked at her name and muttered " Sofy Parkers "slowly.

Sofy got home that evening, she tiredly climbed the stairs took her bath then opened her diary in front of her with a pen on her hand
" Dear Diary,
Today wasn't bad, it's the first day so don't expect me to be like today was so fun, well thank God for today, I met this really cute guy his name is max, they're two actually Max and Melvin, I met Mandy who seems to be cool, I met lot of people in my class I even saw the bullies Capri and Reina, and before I forgot I made friends with Louis the class weirdo, he isn't that bad though but he reads a lot of weird books I guess that's why he's called weirdo, and my English teacher isn't really giving me good vibes I pray he turns out good " Sofy noted.
