Chapter 3 - THE GOAL

"With this, I name you," the emperor intoned. "Last scion of my house. Keeper of my pact. Successor to a throne the world has forgotten." His voice rose, and the shrine responded, the very stones humming. "You will walk the world of men, but you will carry my empire in your veins. You will uncover what was stolen, restore what was denied, and decide whether my legacy rises again… or is laid to rest forever."The glow dimmed, leaving Ebraham swaying, breathless. On his chest, over his heart, a faint sigil now shimmered—a stylized crown encircling a rising sun. It faded until it was almost invisible, like a scar only he would notice."What if I refuse?" Ebraham asked, barely more than a breath. The emperor smiled sadly. "You already accepted, child. When you picked up the tome and chose knowledge over fear, you stepped onto this path." He turned, ascending the steps back to his throne as the hall began to blur at the edges, reality unraveling like smoke. "But what you do with this inheritance… that choice is yours alone."The shrine grew distant, the emperor's form dissolving into light. The last thing Ebraham heard was his voice, echoing inside his skull, calm and absolute:"Awaken, my successor. The empire waits beneath the dust.""Awaken, my successor

Ebraham staggered as he returned to consciousness, the vivid visions and the emperor's proclamation still echoing in his mind. His hands trembled as he touched the sigil glowing faintly over his heart. Overwhelmed by awe and fear, tears sprang to his eyes. The weight of centuries, of lost history and unsung ancestors, pressed down on him. He breathed in the musty air of the ruins and clenched the forbidden tome.Determined to honor the legacy entrusted to him, Ebraham vowed silently:To uncover every lost secret and hidden relic of the ancient Kalabhra Dominion, no matter the cost or the danger. To restore the truth and give voice to a forgotten people, refusing to let the empire remain buried beneath lies and erasure. To use his archeological knowledge to protect and preserve the legacy for future generations, ensuring that the mistakes of betrayal and destruction would not be repeated. He whispered a promise to the shadows of the shrine, his words an oath binding past and present. "I will not let your story vanish. I will be the keeper of your memory—and your empire will rise in truth once more." In this moment, Ebraham transitioned from lone archeologist to living heir, guided by duty and newfound lineage
