Poseidon, Hades, and Athena were moving at tremendous speed toward an unknown destination.
None of them spoke much along the way.
Their expressions were serious, as the mission assigned to them by the Three Fates was of utmost importance.
After a short while...
A massive island appeared before them in the middle of the ocean.
It was Treasure Island.
As soon as the three reached the island, they landed quickly, then immediately concealed their auras and powers so that anyone approaching the island could not detect their presence.
The moment Poseidon's feet touched the island's ground, he turned to Hades and said:
"You will take charge of defending the island."
Then he added seriously:
"Surround the island with the power of death if any invader arrives, and never fight the enemies head-on. Use the power of death to stop and weaken them, then leave the confrontation to me."
Hades nodded calmly.
Then Poseidon turned to Athena.
And said:
"As for you..."
Athena looked at him with interest.
Poseidon continued:
"You will take charge of defending Odin."
Then he pointed toward the cave where Odin was located.
"Protect the cave where Odin is, and do not interfere in the battle at all. Your only mission is to protect Odin."
Athena was about to ask a question, but Poseidon completed:
"No matter what happens, do not leave the cave. It doesn't matter what happens outside, and do not interfere in any fight. Just protect Odin."
Athena looked at him for a few moments, then nodded.
"Very well."
As soon as Poseidon finished giving her instructions, he left Treasure Island.
He headed straight toward the ocean, then entered the water quietly.
And said:
"As for me... I will take care of fighting them from the ocean."
Athena watched him silently.
Then she looked at Hades, and he nodded back to her.
The next instant...
Athena vanished.
And suddenly appeared near the cave where Odin was inside.
She stood in front of the cave entrance for a few moments.
She did not enter.
Athena knew from the Three Fates that Odin was doing something extremely important, so she did not want to disturb him or distract his focus.
She said to herself:
"I will just protect the place..."
Then she stood near the cave, watching the surrounding area cautiously.
At the same time...
Hades had begun executing his mission.
He took out Pandora's box that he was carrying, and looked at it for a few moments.
Then he said calmly:
"Finally... I will use the power of Pandora's box."
As soon as he said that, Hades disappeared from his spot, then appeared on top of one of the mountains on the island.
He sat there quietly, holding Pandora's box, and then began to wait.
He didn't want to enter the battle directly.
He wanted to let his enemies approach first, then use the box's power at the right moment.
He said to himself:
"We just have to wait..."
And Hades remained silent atop the mountain, watching the ocean.
But after a short while...
Something happened that made Hades' expression change.
He sensed extremely powerful auras.
Auras that were not those of ordinary people.
Instead, they were the auras of the most powerful beings in the world.
And those auras were close to Treasure Island.
Hades stopped thinking for a few moments.
He hadn't expected the presence of this many major powers near the island.
In another part of the island, Athena felt the same thing.
Poseidon also sensed it from inside the ocean.
None of them had expected things to reach this extent.
And signs of anxiety began to show on them.
But after a few moments of thought, their expressions calmed down slightly.
They had realized something important.
The presence of all these different races and powers in one place...
Would surely lead to a massive battle among them.
But for them...
That might be to their advantage.
If the different races started fighting each other, each side would be busy with the other.
And no one might notice what was happening inside the island.
Because of this...
None of them moved.
Poseidon didn't go to confront anyone.
Hades didn't attack.
And Athena stayed near Odin's cave, patiently waiting for what would happen.
Dragons, Titans, Demons, and Angels were all in a state of war.
That is why the ancient rulers decided to wait.
If the battle broke out among them...
They might get the best opportunity to carry out their mission of protecting Odin without revealing themselves.
