Chapter 5 - Chapter Five: Pack Tours and Potential Wars.

EMBER.

I followed Evan around the pack house as he showed me every single room, corner, hideout and safe room.

We're currently heading to the state of the art training hall that people from all over the kingdom rage about.

Laryndale Castle had a very pretentious training hall, a lot of time effort and money went in to making sure that they were the best at everything.

Don't get me wrong, I am a Protector, that comes with new types of weapons, training equipment and defense that hasn't even become available to others yet but it's interesting to compare.

"So, here is our training hall." I walked behind Evan who pushed open the huge black double doors to the biggest gym I have ever seen.

Five of each peice of equipment, five different training mats, seperate rooms for specified weapons, knives and guns.

My fingers trailed along the punching bags that swayed with the little pressure.

"Impressive." I mumbled as I pointed to the room which involved the knives. "Are you any good?"

"I'm not the best." he smiled. "But you're more than welcome to try it out."

Pushing open the door, I stood amazed at the amount of knives they have.

I mean, for someone who trains, daily. I've seen every knife imaginable, just not all in the same room.

Picking up a normal knife, I spun it around my fingers before launching it towards the board.

I followed with four others which all landed directly where I wanted them too.

Neck, heart, groin, shoulder and knee.

"Damn." Evan gasped. "You really are legit." he mumbled more to himself but I shrugged.

"I suppose. Do you have an Archery room?" I asked and he nodded.

"Yeah but the only person that uses it is Prince Alec." he smiled. "He's quite good."

Ignoring his comment about Alec, I ignored the moan that tried to escape my lips, as the entire room is swarmed with his cinnamon scent.

Three bows are hung up, two gold, one dark brown. All three beautifully crafted, the brown one in particular, has a deep design, roses being carved into it so perfectly you almost can't notice.

Picking up the brown, grabbed a few arrows and started my fun.

Aiming, I gently pulled back, squinting my eyes, I focused before letting go and allowing it to land perfectly in the center.

After another five arrows, I gently placed the bow back before looking up to see Alec stood by the window.

His face holding admiration and amazement. Evan smiled sheepishly as I glared at him, the relaxed and calm environment we had now ruined and thick with tension because Alec is now here.

"You have talent." Alec spoke as he joined me and Evan as we left the training all.

"Erm, this tour is over. I'll figure everything else out myself. Thanks Evan." I salute him before walking away.

'I can't believe he has the nerve to just show up.'

'It's his pack Lily.'

'I don't care. Sometimes I wish we could just show our identity Emmy. This would make things so much easier.'

'I know. I'm sorry.'

"Don't be sorry. Lets just get this sorted. We need to reject him. I'm not being mated to someone who blatantly allows their fuck buddy to disrespect their mate. You know his wolf, Gage? Just huffed. Didn't apologise. What losers.'

I smiled as I do love my wolf, she is just absolutely amazing.

When I turned eighteen, she wasn't annoyed at me or held any grudges because I left our home.

She was proud. Proud to have me as a human, she called me brave! My own wolf.

"You have to talk to me at some point Amelia!" Alec chased after me. "Spending time with my Beta and not me? Are you trying to make me jealous?"

Ignoring him as I know what he is doing, I walked through the pack house and made my way to my room.

"Amelia! I'm talking to you."

"Alec, ignore her-"

"Fuck off Mia!"

That made me snort.

I actually laughed.

"Godess, you-"

"Stop following me. I'm your guard. You're acting like a love sick puppy." I spat. "You need to reject me."

"Never." he folded his arms and I rolled my eyes. "You were made for me. I'd die before I let you commit such a crime."

"Thanks for the heads up!" I sang as I flipped my middle finger at him.

"This behaviour needs to stop. You are representing the Gold Monarchy!" Mia strolled over, her manicured fingers tracing the outline of Alec's very muscular arms.

Yet did he push her off? No.

"Don't talk to me about representation. I'm a Blackwell, I know more about representing a name more than you will ever know. What's your surname? Sparrow? Wasn't your mum banished from her pack for cheating on her mate with the Gamma of this pack?" I raised an eyebrow.

"How do you-" I held up my hand, cutting Alec off.

"Don't lecture me about family names or reputation. Nobody in this room is innocent. You especially. Look at you? Just like your mother. Hanging onto a ranking member despite knowing he has a mate." I snarled as I gripped her throat and threw her from Alec. "And you!" I growled. "Are no better. Knowing you have a mate but letting your pack bimbo touch you infront of her! You let her disrespect me? For what?"

"Well I"

"Its a rhetorical question!" I snapped. "And you wonder why I don't want you? Add this to the never ending list, Prince Alec." I bowed dramatically. "Stay away from me. I will protect you, with my life but I will never, EVER, be your mate."

With that, I walked away.
