Chapter 163 - Chapter 540: The Fairy Queen’s New Form

Kyurem really wanted to curse someone out right now.

'I'm a god. A vicious, brutal top-tier divine beast that has even killed other gods!'

In the past, whenever he fought others, they would beg Kyurem not to kill them.

Now look at this. Not only did he get beaten up, the other side even told him to wait obediently, saying someone else was going to beat him up again in a bit.

"ROAR!", Kyurem really wanted to shout and ask Mewtwo whether he was treating him like some kind of pushover.

But before he could even open his mouth, he saw the Mega Stone in Mewtwo's hand crack slightly, violent power surging out from within, clearly about to act on Mewtwo's body.

Beside Axel, Rayquaza also looked unfriendly. His tail, wrapped in energy and almost crystallized, flickered with purple light.

What was even more outrageous was that Axel was staring at him with the look someone uses when checking out a beauty, like he was drooling over Kyurem's body.

This lineup was just damn ridiculous.

Honestly, Kyurem wasn't afraid of any one of them individually. The problem was that Axel had way too many top-tier combatants around him.

Kyurem started to regret it. The mission had just been to capture an Ultra Beast and bring it back. He really didn't need to come looking for Axel.

Thankfully, the human who had recently subdued him was pretty strong. Kyurem could even sense the aura of more than one legendary Pokemon on that person.

Kyurem felt that person should count as one of the strongest in the Pokemon world, not necessarily weaker than Axel.

Now he could only hope that this all-powerful master would hurry up and come save him.

———

Seeing Kyurem back down, Axel grinned and shifted his gaze back to the Fairy Queen.

They had long since mastered the power of Vivid as Ice, and Gardevoir's psychic power was currently one of a kind in the Pokemon world. Condensing a white Gardevoir was not difficult at all.

The only real issue was the creation process of the "ice-man" Spectrier.

If Axel remembered correctly, although these two had the same divine role, their attributes were quite different.

Glastrier was high-attack, high-defense, more like a bulldozer.

Spectrier had average defense, but excelled in special attack and speed, more like a long-range mage.

"Gardevoir, how about trying to condense Glastrier instead?"

["No...",] Gardevoir shook her head, ["We've condensed so many Glastrier already, but without the involvement of a divine role, there's no way for the strength to undergo a qualitative change."]

Axel tugged at the corner of his mouth. Sure enough, in this world, any method that could increase strength was never simple.

If Glastrier were like the Black and White Dragons and frequently met with Spectrier, then this condensation process might have been simpler.

But the problem was that this guy hadn't gone home for thousands of years. Calyrex and Spectrier were probably going crazy trying to find him.

Calyrex: 'Where did my horse go? Why is there only one left?'

Spectrier:'凸(艹皿艹) This bastard ditched me here to be a beast of burden!'

Under these circumstances, it really wasn't easy for Glastrier to condense Spectrier.

Fortunately, Glastrier had interacted with Spectrier fairly often in the past. Even if his memories were blurry, they weren't completely gone.

About ten minutes later, Glastrier finally used the power of Vivid as Ice to condense a pitch-black Spectrier.

Spectrier had a blue mane and a pale blue tail, with mist-like vapor floating around its limbs like wandering souls.

Compared to Glastrier, Spectrier looked even more like something that had walked out of hell.

Under Glastrier's control, the two horses stood side by side. Thick frost surged and rolled, forming behind them a wildly exaggerated carriage, like an ancient war chariot.

Beside Gardevoir, the already-condensed white Gardevoir and pink Gardevoir appeared hand in hand above the carriage.

The "Chosen Mount" trait activated. Black, icy blue, pink, and white. Four dazzling pillars of light shot into the sky. The intense pressure made every Pokemon below Gym Leader level on the scene instinctively prostrate themselves on the ground.

Kyurem's lips trembled. His wings pressed against the ground as he subconsciously backed away, starting to regret why he had waited here.

Before he could leave, the four pillars of light retracted, and everyone present finally saw the scene within.

The war chariot as a whole resembled an ancient charging vehicle, except rendered in a mecha style. Two steeds pulled it from the front, and atop the carriage stood two Gardevoirs, each holding a long spear.

Glastrier was covered in ice-patterned armor, crystal mane hanging down like razor-sharp blades.

Spectrier was wrapped in dark-patterned metal, with a particle-like mane of black mist drifting like a ghost.

White Gardevoir and pink Gardevoir stood at the sides of the carriage, their skirts transformed into semi-transparent energy wings.

The four were linked in aura, even sketching out the streamlined outline of the carriage cabin, seemingly leaving a spot for Axel.

["Master... do you want to try fighting personally?"]

Both Gardevoirs looked at Axel at the same time, teasing smiles tugging at the corners of their eyes.

Axel couldn't help licking his lips and hurriedly waved his hands.

After such a long time of getting used to this, he simply couldn't look directly at the word "battle" coming out of Gardevoir's mouth anymore, okay.

Gardevoir chuckled softly, no longer teasing Axel. She turned her gaze toward where Mewtwo and Kyurem were, a fierce light flashing in her eyes.

It was this ice dragon, again and again, that came looking for trouble with her master.

Today, she was going to let Kyurem see the consequences of pestering Axel.

["Charge!"]

The instant Gardevoir's voice fell, the war chariot sprang into motion. With the newly joined Spectrier, the Fairy Queen's overall speed surged dramatically.

White Gardevoir raised her hand first. Psychic power surged, and the ferocious Kyurem actually didn't let out a roar, as if the Fairy Queen's attack wasn't even aimed at him.

It wasn't until the long spear in Gardevoir's hand, infused with Fairy-type power, thrust forward and was about to pierce Kyurem's brow that Kyurem reacted belatedly.

Facing Gardevoir's new form, he had just lost his fighting spirit for a moment.

"ROAR!", Kyurem opened his mouth wide, icy flames pouring out in torrents, colliding head-on with Gardevoir's spear.

The bone-chilling flames crawled along the spear, freezing the Fairy-type energy attached to it while losing no momentum, clearly about to freeze Gardevoir solid.

At that moment, the white Gardevoir to the side suddenly lit up in the eyes, releasing a gentle, soothing wave.

Invisible psychic power spread outward from her, wrapping around the icy flames.

Kyurem was shocked to discover that the instant those flames were covered by this special energy, they actually stopped obeying his control.

The flames rapidly dispersed. The Fairy-type power that had been suppressed was released, transforming into countless Fairy butterflies that slammed into Kyurem.

And the price the white Gardevoir paid for all of this was merely shivering all over from the freezing flames.
