Chapter 9 - The Tyrant Forest

Regarding the reason for this, according to Arceus's explanation, he already has a strong bloodline inside his body right now. A bloodline that is strong enough to resist being suppressed or being mixed with the bloodline of the Ancestral Dragon.

When he heard this explanation at that time, he was not very surprised. The bloodline of the Vorhelm Clan is a bloodline with more than a thousand years of history, and it comes from an immortal knight. Its strength is naturally clear.

For now, this meant he could not gain the Ancestral Dragon bloodline. He either had to give up on the Vorhelm bloodline, or he had to find a way to make his body able to handle both bloodlines and create a balance between them.

He took off his clothes, and before going to the bath, he looked at himself in the mirror. In the past two years he had grown, and his height had increased.

He did not know if this was because of tempering himself with the Star of Eternal Ruins or not, but his height was taller than what it was in his past life at the same age.

If he was not mistaken, he was now 174 centimeters tall (5 feet 8 inches). If he kept growing like this, he would probably reach the height of his father.

After a second thought, he let go of the idea. That man was a real giant. He doubted he could reach that man's height, and maybe it was better if he did not.

Then he went to the bath and washed his body. During the past month, because he increased his training, his body sweat more and became dirty faster, so he had to take a bath every day.

It was a little annoying, but he did not want to hear Lia's complaints, so after finishing the bath he put on clean clothes and sat on his bed.

"Arceus, I have a question for you." Then, as if he suddenly remembered something, he whispered with a cold tone.

"What is it, human?" Arceus, who was floating in the air, opened his bright eyes and came toward him.

"Can other people feel the Star of Eternal Ruins, or understand that I am its owner?"

In his past life, the reason he was killed and betrayed was the Star of Eternal Ruins. It was the thing that made him noticed by a man he neither wanted nor thought was possible.

But this made him think about how that man and his former friends even realized that he had the Star of Eternal Ruins. He was sure he never told anyone about that secret, not even his former lover.

"The Star is connected to your life and soul. Mortals should not be able to feel it. Even for gods it is not easy." Arceus paused for a moment and then answered.

"There is no exception? No treasure or item that can have that kind of power?" Reinh's expression did not change, and he asked with a cold tone.

Arceus did not answer immediately and started thinking again. Even though the Star of Eternal Ruins could not be considered alive, it had a strong instinct and always tried to hide.

He had never heard of mortals being able to feel its existence.

"Among gods, some of them can roughly locate it, but they can only be sure if a person owns the Star by the curse and then testing the curse."

"Testing the curse, huh?" A cold smirk appeared on Reinh's face. He still did not know what that curse was, but he could guess that those friends of his probably approached him in order to test him

However, how his friends and that man understood in the first place that he owned the Star was still unclear… or at least it looked unclear.

After hearing Arceus's words, he understood how they found out, and that made the cold smirk on his face even stronger.

It seemed like they might already know about him even right now, or they would know soon. This meant he had less time than he thought.

"Maybe I must make some changes to my plans." He stood up and looked outside through the window.

"Human, what are you planning to do now?" Arceus felt a shiver when he saw Reinh's emotionless face.

"Do you know why they call this place the Tyrant Palace?"

Arceus only shook his head. He did not know and he did not care. A great dragon like him did not care about such small and useless things.

"It is because of the location of this palace. This palace is in a forest they call the Tyrant Forest." Reinh said with a cold voice. His eyes were staring at the distance.

At the distance, there was a tall mountain range, and inside that mountain range, something lived that could help him gain the body structure of a dragon faster.

"Young Master, dinner is ready!" A beautiful voice pulled him out of his thoughts.

Reinh looked at the mountain range one last time. For now, he could not do anything about it. He had to find a way to force someone else to help him.

After that, he went downstairs toward the dining table. Lia was already there waiting for him. The table was full of delicious foods and different kinds of meat.

He sat calmly and put enough food on his plate. He looked at Lia and gestured for her to sit.

"Young Master, this is not right… I am more comfortable if I stand like this."

Reinh did not force her and continued eating. Then, from the corner of his eyes, he noticed the hungry look Arceus had toward the food.

The smell of the food was so good that even a dragon was tempted. Unfortunately, this dragon was only a small spirit and could not touch the physical world.

"It looks like the old man came back earlier today." Then as if he noticed something, Arceus started laughing loudly.

Reinh also heard the sound of footsteps coming from behind him.

"Greetings, Young Master," August bowed respectfully.

"You returned earlier than usual today." Reinh said with an indifferent tone as he bit into a piece of meat.

"I received new information from the Garden of Crowns. For some reasons, the trial for the new generation will be held earlier."

"How much earlier?" Small waves passed through Reinh's eyes. In his past life, something like this did not happen.

"Instead of two months from now, we must return to the Garden of Crowns next month," August said respectfully.

"Is the reason known?"

"It seems barbarians have attacked the border territories."

After hearing August's words, Reinh stopped eating and looked straight at the old man.
