Sierra recognized that look.

Because he'd looked at her the same way.

And at Maddie.

And now—

Now he'd looked at Delilah like that too.

Maddie's voice was very small beside her.

"Sierra?"

Sierra didn't answer.

She just kept staring at the frozen frame of Delilah's head thrown back, mouth open in ecstasy, Phei's hand buried between her thighs.

"That's why he came back so happy yesterday," Sierra said slowly, voice low and thoughtful, like she was piecing together a murder mystery and had just found the smoking gun. "That's why he was dancing and singing like a lunatic—"

"And Delilah had jumped him at school,"  Maddie finished, grin spreading wide and wicked, like a cat who'd just discovered the cream was actually vintage champagne laced with sin. "Then he had probably went at the mansion for more. Our boy's been busy collecting family heirlooms."

Sierra should have been jealous.

She wasn't.
