Joseph's POV
"Karl," I call out, needing his full report on what transpired during our strike.
"I took half our warriors like you ordered, and we moved silently toward Deon's territory. His Beta was present, but they were throwing some kind of celebration. Their attention was scattered, and even their patrol routes were sloppy. We infiltrated without detection, eliminated the guards, took down the Beta, and several warriors who were drinking behind the packhouse before anyone could sound an alarm. The omegas and children never reached their safe rooms, which made our extraction swift and clean. The only command I didn't execute was eliminating Deon's heir," he reports.
I arch an eyebrow. "We don't harm children."
"Understood, but you also instructed us to eliminate anyone who fought back, and the boy came at me. His mother did too."
"What's your assessment of the son?" I ask, genuinely curious about his take.
