Karl's POV
After ensuring Adaline was stable at the hospital, I stepped outside to contact Damon. The news about Dorothy's abduction and Demetrius's retreat needed immediate attention. Damon's voice crackled through the phone as I explained the situation.
"I can dispatch Gareth and his warriors to pursue Demetrius," Damon offered. "Do you require Natasha's healing abilities?"
"Time isn't on our side," I replied grimly. "Dorothy's guard took silver to the chest. Unless Adaline can work miracles, he won't survive long enough for Natasha to arrive."
The mind link buzzed with Lincoln' urgent message. 'Beta, Alpha Deon and his warriors are secured in the detention area.'
'Keep them contained. I'm heading down now.'
Damon's voice drew my attention back to the call. "Should we organize search teams for your Luna?"
"Alpha Joseph is already tracking Dean. If backup becomes necessary, you'll be the first to know. I appreciate the offer, Alpha."
