Luna's POV
Before Joseph and I part ways, he pulls me close and kisses me deeply, right there in front of everyone. The entire pack watches as his lips claim mine with an intensity that makes my knees weak. It feels like something straight out of a romantic movie.
"If trouble finds us, I'll dispatch warriors to guard the hospital. Just focus on what you excel at," he murmurs against my lips, his gaze tender and reassuring.
"Then you focus on what you excel at, Alpha. Battle fiercely and remain unbreakable."
"How could I be anything but unbreakable with you beside me," he whispers, drawing me in for another kiss that steals my breath.
As I step away, I notice Dorian, Natasha, and Adaline gathered nearby, waiting patiently. Adaline doesn't bear a mating mark, yet Karl's scent clings to her powerfully. I catch her stealing glances behind me, fighting to suppress a grin. Turning, I spot Karl giving her a playful wink.
