Chapter 113 - Chapter 57: Uninvited Guest (Part 1)

Seeing that on the other side Chu Ge had already put the Dao Manifestation Ring onto Su Lingyuan's finger, and that she was smiling happily, a faint trace of sourness rose in Luo Huangjun's heart. However, she did not say anything.

She only took one last deep look at Chu Ge before quietly leaving.

"Hehe, Junior Brother, you're really good to me."

Su Lingyuan blinked playfully at Chu Ge, lovingly toying with the Dao Manifestation Ring on her finger.

Noticing that Luo Huangjun had already departed, Su Lingyuan's eyes flickered as she secretly moved close to Chu Ge's ear.

"Junior Brother, tell your Senior Sister—what were you just doing with Master?"

Curiosity shone in her eyes, and the smile at the corner of her lips was like that of a little mischievous devil.

Chu Ge calmly glanced at the pair of plump, soft mounds pressing against his arm, then spoke, "If Senior Sister wants to know, you can go ask Master yourself."

"Hmph!"

Upon hearing this, Su Lingyuan let out a soft, coquettish snort as her rosy cheeks puffed up slightly.

It was precisely because she didn't dare to ask Luo Huangjun that she waited until she left to question Chu Ge. Who would have thought that Chu Ge was so sly, leaving her no opening at all?

"You rotten Junior Brother!"

Throwing down those words, Su Lingyuan turned and left.

Chu Ge looked rather regretfully at the arm that had just been crushed beneath that pair of "bears," and couldn't help but sigh inwardly,

"Senior Sister's bosom is truly broad."

After that, Chu Ge did not linger. He first returned to his room to change his clothes. Although cleansing with spiritual energy left no trace of scent or marks, wearing them out like that still made him feel somewhat awkward, so he simply changed into a fresh set.

Only then did he go out again, spent some time finding a new location to complete his daily check-in, and then returned to the Taihuang Hall to continue cultivating.

In the blink of an eye, several more days passed.

With the aid of the Northern Star Mystic Crystal, the speed at which Chu Ge opened his star apertures increased dramatically. In just a few short days, he was already on the verge of reaching the minor perfect realm.

On this day, Taihuang Sacred Land welcomed a group of uninvited guests.

Inside the Taihuang Hall.

Luo Huangjun sat upright in the seat of honor, her gaze icy as she swept over those below.

There were four people in total: one youth, one middle-aged man, and two elderly men.

"Speak. For what purpose have you come today?"

Luo Huangjun's clear, cold voice echoed throughout the hall.

Hearing this, the two elders and the middle-aged man all frowned.

Only the young man maintained a smile the whole time, his gaze fixed on Luo Huangjun, a trace of hidden heat flashing in his eyes from time to time.

"Luo Huangjun, mind your attitude! With two clan elders present, how dare you be so disrespectful?"

The middle-aged man's expression was dark with anger as he stared directly at Luo Huangjun.

"Attitude? How laughable. I am the Holy Lord of Taihuang—must I bow and scrape before you instead?"

"As for you, barging in uninvited and storming straight into my Taihuang Hall, treating my Taihuang Sacred Land as if it were nothing—how arrogant! If not for the sake of our shared clan ties, I would have slain all of you on the spot."

Luo Huangjun spoke coldly. Her eyes were sharp as blades, glinting with icy light. The atmosphere within the hall instantly grew tense as an invisible pressure spread from her body.

"You—!"

The middle-aged man flew into a rage and was about to speak again, but was stopped.

"Qingfeng! Stand down!"

From among the two elders, one wearing a gray robe spoke in a deep, authoritative voice.

At that, the man named Luo Qingfeng flushed crimson with anger and could only retreat unwillingly, his eyes full of resentment.
