"No we can't go now, let's wait for one more hour."
"Ok I will be out talking to the queen then."
"Hello my queen."
"I will wait for the day you finally call me mother."
"I will always call you mother from now on."
"Good girl, there are too many eyes and ears here, let's go to the garden." I followed the queen to the garden.
"Have you opened the box I gave you?"
"No I am sorry I was so preoccupied that I always forget to open it."
"It's ok my dear I know you have been through hale and back lately but you are still willing to look for my son, the box I gave you might help in your search it's the only thing belonging to my son."
"I have kept it safe and I will use it thank you for your help mother."
"I want you to be very careful my dear, if I lose you too I don't know how I am going to live, I was so scared when I heard that you have died."
"Don't worry mother, I have three thousand men under my control now it won't be easy to kill me." Suddenly I saw Ever running towards me.
"Don't forget the men I gave you dear." The queen said while looking at Ever,.
"My queen I apologize, my princess we have to go now."
"My queen, I will see you soon,thank you for the extra help and goodbye for now."
"Ever what's the matter?"
"Princess Lister sent me to get you as fast as I can she said it's an emergency."
When I reached the front gate I saw three carriages.
"I am sorry my princess, I must report to the border as soon as there is an emergency." Prince Jack said.
"Then I am coming with you, my prince."
"You are always welcome please this way." He opened the door for me.
"Where is Why Mi and Mercy?" I asked my sister in law who was waiting inside.
"She went to get your things they will couch up later."
"I see." I made a whistle sound and soon a white lab rat appeared. I quickly wrote something and sent it away, my sister in law was just looking at me.
"What did you send it to do?"
"Something important." could it be that my sister in law was reborn too? She has been acting strange and if I went back home to sleep prince Jack would have left without us, maybe it's a coincidence?
Lister kept checking outside from time to time, and my suspension of her grew stronger, whether she may have some information or not.
"Sister, why did you think we should go with Jack? We could have just started off tomorrow."
"It was you who wanted to be escorted by him, remember? who knows what you are up to." She winked and smiled.
"Don't even dare think there is something going on between us, I am a married woman for goodness sake."
"Married to a ghost."
"Shut up, my husband is alive somewhere. Maybe he just can't find home or he is afraid of someone powerful, he must have a solid reason for not coming back." I said confidently.
Lister was trying to talk but I could sense she wasn't fine, could it be that Jack was killed on his way here, or at the border?
As soon as I thought of this the carriage stopped, I quickly jumped out and to my surprise so did my sister on the other side.
We rushed to the prince's carriage only to see him crawling out in pain. His body was covered in blood. My men captured all five men of the prince, 'so the prince was killed by his men?'
"Absalom, please make sure this place is secured, the prince has been poisoned." I shouted with the hint of agency.
"Yes mum." Absalom, the commander of my army answered.
"To identify the poison it will be too late." I just cut my finger and dropped my blood on one of his wounds.
"Princess, this method is dangerous, stop it." Lister stopped me.
"If I stop now he will die, please get me a pill from my bag it's red In color," I swallowed the pill and started drinking water, I instructed Lister to make some antidote for the poison and soon she handed it to me I quickly stopped the bleeding and finished treating the prince.
"This poison was going to kill him in five minutes, this is bad if his own men want him dead then they are planning something big, and they must be more threats."
"They want to do the same thing they did to your husband only this time they want to make sure they finish the job."
"If that's the case then this is a big organization." I instructed my men to take the assassin's and stay in the mountains. I replaced the five men with my own.
"I have a plan on how to capture the rest of the group."
"What is, Can you tell me?"
"Not yet. I will tell you later." Two hours later we were at the border and we took the prince into his tent. Only a few knew he was back. We stayed all night treating him. By the time morning came he was feeling much better.
"How are you feeling, Prince Jack?" Lister asked.
"I am feeling much better," he looked at the sleeping me.
"She has been taking care of you all night. She is tired, but she has written down instructions for what you need to do if you want to get the cowprits." When prince Jack read my notes he wasn't sure. "Will this work?"
"Who knows this girl can be damn complicated."
"Please don't burn me, I am sorry for everything, please don't burn me, I will do anything!"
"Sasha! It's just a dream." I opened my eyes slowly, my head was in Listar's arms, prince Jack was looking at me sitting nearby.
"You were having a nightmare."
"Yes, but I am fine now." My body was still shaking so much, Lister held me closer and prince Jack made me tea.
"Do you always have such nightmare's?" Prince Jack handed me a cup and sat net to me.
"No I don't." I was sure not to show that I was lying because everytime I close my eyes I have the same nightmare. I always work up in cold sweat, I have developed Severe insomnia because of this.
"Prince Jack, did you follow my instructions carefully?"
"I did but I still don't understand how you are going to catch the moll by picking fruits."
"Stap one: take all the soldiers to pick up fruits in the orchard." Time hardly passed and soon everyone was back.
"Step two: lock each and everyone in a room by putting them in groups of a hundred."
Group one entered the rooms, Step 3: Prince Jack me and Lister entered the building and visited one person at a time.
"If you were to survive on the fruits you collected today for a month can you manage?" The prince asked the question.
"Yes, generally I can survive for a month on the fruits I gathered today."
"You seem confident, can we see what you have collected?" The man emptied his bag and the fruits he gathered were nice, some where ripped, some a little ripped and some where unriped.
I stood up and asked him a question. "Why did you gather this kind of fruit?"
"Because I thought we were going to store the fruits. If they were all ripped they would be destroyed in just a few days, so I gathered them in category."
"You have passed tomorrow, you are going on a hunt with us." Lister said and the man was happy.
In the next room. "Why did you pick up this kind of fruit?"
"Because if we stall them they can lust long and for the ripped ones we can make juice out of it to last us a long time."
"Because with so many fruits it's easy to rote so I thought the less ripped ones can last long."
"I thought we are facing a big problem anytime so these unripe fruits can help us for a long time."
"If you were to stay here for a month can you survive on the fruits you have collected today?"
"No sir?"
"Why not?"
"I will need other foods too."
"A soldier must survive in anything he has. We are facing a big problem so you are going to stay here for a month. You will only eat the fruits you have gathered."
"No! Please, my prince, give me another chance. I will collect other fruits I promise to be back soon." I stood up and went to him.
"Please show us the fruits you collected, first then we can talk."
