[Searching for higher-sequence warriors to repel invasion…]

[Error: No higher-sequence entity detected]

[Threat Level Escalated]

[Initiating Forceful Evolution Protocol]

[This world is now under the jurisdiction of the Infinite Record.]

[You may now access your status window at will.]

Xavier was lying on the steel bed in one of the cells of federal prisons when out of nowhere his vision was filled with multiple blue windows, completely blocking his vision.

"What is this..?" He questioned out loud, however before he could make sense of the situation, suddenly a violent tremor caused the entire room to tremble violently, Xavier felt as if he was punched in the chest throwing air out of his lungs, a pained expression on his face.

The pained forced him to accept the reality, the world had changed. If the pain wasn't enough, the scream of prisoners coming from outside, left no doubts in his mind.

Instantly Xavier accepted reality as it was, without wasting any time.

Some of you might the world around him was completely flipped over, how can he easily such drastic changes so easily, well the answer was quiet simple thats just how he was, ever since he was young Xavie thinking was slightly twisted, he believed anything that his mind was capable of thinking, there was slight chance of it happening in reality, meaning human mind was not capable of imagining senior which did not exist.

Meanwhile Xavier didn't immediately rush to take a look outside, instead he chose to follow the instruction of the Infinite Record and silently recite in his heart. "Status"

Instantly the multiple blue windows floating in front of his retina disappeared and a singular semi-transparent appeared in its place.

Freely distributable stats – 0]

"Hmmm as expected my physical stats are well over the average humans.."

Xavier wasn't surprised by his stats considering he used to play soccer ever since he was kid, only stopped playing once he was thrown in the prison on false charges.

"So the world turned into a game.." Xavier wasn't the type to panic, his life was already bad as it could be, nothing else could make it worse.

Before he could continue thinking, several terrified screams came from the hallway followed by multiple gunshots one after the other.

"Dammn bullets seemed to ineffective against these creatures..."

"Someone call for backup, there are zombies, prisoners are turning into zombies.."

An officer said in a panicked voice as he pointed the muzzle of a shotgun toward the nearest zombie's head, shooting off the head of his fellow colleague who turned into a zombie.

Bang! Blood sparkles everywhere, painting the plain white walls crimson.

Outside it was absolute chaos, As it was launch time most of the inmates were in the cafeteria, with a rare few like Xavier who were in their cell due to various reasons.

"Zombies?" Xavier had to take a look once more to make sure, there were indeed zombies outside, most of them former prisoners as evidenced by their orange uniform while there were few officers who had also turned into walking dead.

Just one look, and Xavier instinctively walked backwards, although he knew if the world had turned into a game, then he could grow stronger by killing these zombies.

At that thought, he shook his head, "Although it is true I might grow stronger but the risk is too much, as soon as I step out of my cell, zombies will outnumber me..First I have to wait and gather as much information as possible.."

Xavier's eyes flashed with coldness as he calmly analyzed the situation and thought of countless ways to ensure his survival.

Just then his gaze moved toward the thin iron bar that prevented him from escaping but now these same bars protected him.

Still given the extraordinary situation, Xavier wasn't sure if these thin iron bars would be able to protect him from the chaos outside.

Suddenly he had an idea, moving at lighting speed, he grabbed the small iron bed and raised it upwards to shield himself from any attack, the iron bed easily covered the entire cell, allowing Xavier to hide behind it.

Once made sure he was in a relatively safe position, he looked outside, to assess the changing situation.

Just then he heard several horrified screams, "Oh my god what is this monster.."

"Somebody save me.."

Xavier didn't know who it was, but their scream was abruptly cut midway, whatever that terrified the man didn't let him finish.

Bang! Bang! Multiple gunshot resounded, then the sound of something cutting through the air echoed and several headless bodies fell to the ground.

Xavier's heart chilled as he watched the scene playing in front of his eyes.

A zombie holding two glowing swords moved like an expert martial artist, separating anything that blocked its path.

Hiss! Xavier immediately ducked, worried that the monster might notice him.

Maybe it was this sudden movement or something else, but the eyes of the zombie holding the glowing sword turned toward Xavier cell.

For a moment the corridor outside fell into a chilling silence only to be broken by the sound of rhythmic footsteps.

Tap! Tap!

Xavier's eyes turned slightly solemn, he could feel the monster moving closer to his cell.

Fighting was the only option now, there was no escaping.

His eyes scanned the cell rapidly, his gaze pausing only at the iron water pipe above the toilet.

With a jerk, Xavier hastily dashed and grabbed the pipe and yanked it out with all his strength.

The earlier earthquake had already loosened the pipe, so without much effort the three foot water pipe was in his hand, once the fitting was removed a shower of cold water filled the cell.

Xavier couldn't bother caring about it, his gaze focused on the monster banging the Iron bars of his cell.

"Just what are these glowing swords made of..?" He couldn't stop himself from asking as he noticed faint marks appeared on the iron bars, it wouldn't take long before they were cut down.

Meanwhile outside, several prisoners and even officers were overjoyed by this development, taking this as an opportunity to get out of this palace, no one thought about helping Xvaier.

Meanwhile Xavier was mentally preparing himself for the fight, when a piece of iron bar was completely cut and flung in his direction like a bullet, hitting the wall beside him.

If it weren't for the fact that he was already prepared the iron bar might have severely injured him.

Just as he was about to move back and grab the bar to use it as a weapon, considering it looked sturdier compared to the rusty water pipe in his hand.

However the Sword Zombie wasn't going to give him that chance, swoosh! Xavier barely blinked when his entire vision was filled by a sharp glowing sword directly coming at his throat.

Instinctively raised the pipe and managed to block the blow, clank! A terrifying shock ran through his hands, almost causing him to fall on his butt.

The Difference in strength between Xavier and the Sword Zombie was too great.

"Damm things cant go on like this, i will definitely die fighting head on.."

From the first exchange alone, Xavier concluded.

Escape..! This thought occurred to him, as the bars preventing from escaping were already cut, however as soon as this thought occurred to him he denied it, the monster speed was definitely higher then its strength, if tried to run, death will only come faster.

Fighting was the only option, once Xavier came to his conclusion, his eyes turned slightly cold and his grip on the pipe tightened.

Clank!

Pipe and the sword clashed multiple times in a breath of time, Xavier avoiding getting his neck chopped by a hair breadth, with every swing he was being pushed backwards.

Bang!

Xavier rolled to the side and Swords Zombie sword hit the cell wall, slightly stuck, taking a large chunk of concrete out of it.

Sizzle, another attack and as soon as the sword made contact with the wet ground steam burst out of it, the sword glowed slightly fading.

Xavier's eyes narrowed to slits witnessing this scene.

Next moment, he purposefully moved close to the source of the water, not realizing Xavier's plan the sword zombie followed him close.

As Xavier expected, once the Sword Zombie was directly inside the shower, the glowing sword started to flicker showing signs of dissipating. This change seemed to have finally alerted the monster as it tried to back away, however before it could even take a step back, "You are not going anywhere.." Xavier jumped and grabbed its ankles, holding tightly.

The swords zombie struggled and kicked him frantically, but he didn't budge.

Soon the sword completely dissipated, taking this chance, Xavier started attacking relentlessly, aiming for weak point, the zombie head.

The water rusty water pipe hit the monster's head like a hammer, bent inward in one hit, Xavier ignored it and continued hammer like a machine, each swing powered by his fifteen points of strength.

Crack! Unable to withstand the onslaught, a sound similar to a watermelon echoed followed brain matte sapling in every direction, before being washed away by the flowing water.

Then a thick ball of light emerged from the dead zombie corpse and merged with Xavier.

However he didn't care about it, his focus shifting to the new windows that had popped in front of him as soon as he killed the monster.

After quickly reading through the windows, his attention shifted to the two glowing items lying on the ground, beside the Zombie corpse.

"Loot from killing the mosnter..?" Xavier muttered in a slightly unsure tone, still he reached out and grabbed both of them at the same time.
