Chapter 2 - Ch-2 MOM SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH BROTHER!!

I clutched my head.

It felt like it was about to explode.

Where am I? Was it all just a dream?

And then suddenly, a rush of memories slipped into my mind.

Akira Miyato—that was my name, or at least the name of the body I was possessing.

I looked around the room where I woke up.

Huh?! This place… it wasn't…

---

(Third Person POV)

Akira looked around the room.

It was filled with furniture. He was lying on a single bed. There was a desk nearby, some books on the bookshelf, and some ninja tools such as kunai, etc.

The furniture wasn't like this in the anime, Akira thought.

The furniture looks like it belongs somewhere in the 19th century, he thought again.

Then Akira looked out of the window, and his expression became that of a person who had traveled into the past… or the future, in this case.

There were trains and tall buildings like those in 19th-century London.

People were wearing kimonos and suits, hats, and other accessories.

"AKIRA, COME DOWN AND EAT WITH US!" a somewhat feminine voice called out.

Akira immediately recognized the voice, but hesitantly replied,

"COMING, MOM!"

Akira swiftly wore his slippers and went downstairs.

"You slept for a long time, son," the same feminine voice said.

"Oh Mia, be nice to him. He has to go to war soon," a rather masculine voice replied, carrying a hint of sadness.

The mood suddenly became heavy.

War? Right… Akira thought as he sat down.

The original owner of this body was about to go to the Third Shinobi War in two days.

Some jonin had come by yesterday to inform him. The original owner was a chunin.

At that rank, participating in the war was basically compulsory.

"Hey now, don't be sad, honey," the masculine voice said. He was Samuel Miyato, Akira's father.

"No, I'm fine. Live, alright? Because if you die, I will be very mad," Mia Miyato, Akira's mother, said after a bit of sadness.

"Of course I'll be back alive…" Akira said.

Although he wasn't really sure if he would.

Someone like Kakashi Hatake had nearly died in that war too.

"Oi, idiot. Big brother," a young female voice said. It was Akira's sister, Aya Miyato.

"Move aside, will you? For someone who is going to die soon, you're taking too much space," Aya said.

This hit Akira right in the heart.

"You talk too much, shortie," Akira said, flicking her forehead.

"Ouch… idiot brother!" Aya complained.

"Both of you, stop now and eat. And Aya, don't be harsh on your brother. Be nice. You won't find a good husband like this, young lady," Mia said.

The family of four sat at the table to eat breakfast.

There was a bit of sadness in the air… well, it was not uncommon to send a 12-year-old child to war in this world.

But to the parents, it was still a heavy pill to swallow.

---

After breakfast, Akira went back to his room and began thinking.

Okay, I need to first learn how this world works. Things are different. The technology seems too advanced for the time. Could it be one of the past reincarnators? Akira thought in silence.

Akira then saw a history book.

He opened it and saw there were no marks on it except the name Akira Miyato.

Seems like this guy wasn't much of a study person, Akira thought, remembering his own history books covered in notes to remember important points.

Let's start from the beginning. Founding of Konoha, huh? (The Village Hidden in the Leaves was founded by Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha.) This part is the same.

(But during the foundation, a particular clansman wasn't happy about this.)

This is new, Akira thought. This part wasn't mentioned in the anime, so it must be a change caused by one of the reincarnators of that time.

(His name was Hiro Uchiha. He rallied a bunch of other Uchiha who were not supporters of this idea.)

Okay, this must be done by one of the reincarnators, Akira thought.

(Hiro Uchiha then went on to found his own village after gathering support from his fellow clansmen.)

(The village he founded was the Village Hidden in the Red.)

What a lame name, Akira thought — before pausing.

"WHAAAAAAAAAAT!!!" Akira shouted.

"STOP SHOUTING, IDIOT!" Aya barged into the room and screamed.

But when she saw Akira reading, she fell silent, closed the door, and left.

"MOM, SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH BROTHER—HE'S STUDYING!" Aya yelled downstairs.

Akira couldn't care less what she was yelling about and continued reading.

This guy formed a new village… but why? Could he be not a reincarnator but manipulated by one? Akira continued.

(After the founding of both Konoha and Red, new villages started appearing one by one: Cloud, Sand, Mist, Stone, and many small villages.)

(Soon, technological development also began, but mostly in Konoha and Red. Hiyo Senju was the main reason behind it. Daughter of a Senju elder, she he became the technological pioneer. She began with major construction techniques—architecture, bridges, roads—then came the most revolutionary transport of all time: the steam engine. Trains that could cover many districts and sometimes even cities…)

So this is the reason why this world feels so modern, Akira thought.

(Red was not far behind. They were developing at the same rate, mainly because of their First Redkage, Hiro Uchiha.)

(He developed equipment such as radio, which proved extremely helpful in wars, announcements, and entertainment. He also created theaters, cameras, and many more things.)

I think I already fight two of the reincarnators before me. Well, that was easy, Akira smirked.

(During the end of the First Great Shinobi War, both of these technological geniuses died at the hands of each other. It was found by Konoha's spy network that Hiro Uchiha was developing weapons for war in a factory. The factory was attacked by Hiyo Senju, and in the end both died, and the weapons and factory were destroyed.)

Was he making guns? Akira wondered.

If a new village exists, it will cause a massive butterfly effect on the future. These two guys screwed the future generations of reincarnators, huh?

My previous life wasn't any better. Now I have to deal with this. I wonder if Ryan is alright. Who were the people who killed me? Ryan said we needed to leave… It doesn't matter now anyway.

Well, I am dead and reborn. Will the memories of this new guy really help me? I'm sorry… I don't know if the original owner of this body is dead.

War is also coming my way in one day. I should read further. I need to know what happened later.

(Next Chapter: Downfall of the Senju)

Skip.

(Development of Chakra Theory)

Skip.

(Second Great Shinobi War and The Strongest Sannin)

Strongest Sannin… it's probably Orochimaru, right?

(Ryo Senju was the hope of the Senju after their decline during the First Great Shinobi War.)

Who the fuck is Ryo Senju?

(He was a descendant of the Senju and was trained by the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi.)

(He was one of those geniuses born every 100 years. Though not like Hashirama Senju and nor possessing a Kekkei Genkai…)

(Ryo Senju later married Princess Tsunade Senju, the granddaughter of Hashirama Senju.)

"..."

"..."

"..."

"WHAAAAAAT THE ABSOLUTE FUUUUUCK!!!"

HOW DID HE MANAGE TO PULL HER?!

Akira sulked for a few minutes.

"That's it. I'm not reading this bullshit anymore."

Akira looked outside the window. It was almost night.

I have one more day before I go to war. I should spend time with my family, I guess. Even though I'm not the original Akira, I have some of his memories.

I will have to kill people in the war, huh?

Shouldn't be that hard.

I've already killed someone in my past life anyway.

Note from the Author

Before you start killing me in the comments and leaving angry reviews, I want you to know:

From a story point of view, I made the right decision.

By making Tsunade marry someone already.

I will make up for it soon.

Goodbye — your friendly neighborhood author that you will hate within enough chapters.
