Kain had to touch a crystal ball that was in front of him, it was distinguished up until Kain's hand touched it. It glowed a faint light then a name was hovering above it,

Parry and it won't be in your way. Hate doing it yourself? Level 10 will make it automatically do that for you. ]
Kain's sister looked disappointed, "Aw, you got a useless skill, a simple parry.." she said, not amused. The hooded man looked a bit said for Kain, "Oh my, it's okay young Kain, even if the ability isn't that good I believe you can make it far in life. But what does the symbol next to the zero stand for?", his sister noticing that comes up with her own theories, "Does this mean that Kain can't go past zero?.. This is bad kain!" she screams loudly to the point where birds chirp and fly away. Kain didn't look too disappointed, he was wondering about his ability. It talks about 'Something in the way? Parry it and it won't be in your way.' Does this mean that the thing gets deleted or does it just move it to the side and place it at a point. 'Something thrown at you? Just parry it.' Does this mean that he, Kain, can just stop the momentum of objects?
Kain also looked at the Efficiency, 0^∞ basically means zero raised to the power of infinity, but that would contradict itself. Technically, it could be zero, undefined, some finite non-zero number, or even infinity. Weird. But it mentions Level Ten, which means I can at least level up, so zero is out. That leaves either a finite non-zero number or infinity. He just has to try and see what happens.
Kain looked pleased though, 'Automatic parry'? That sounds amazing. He looks at them, "This doesn't too bad of an ability, I'll just play around with it and see what I can do." Even if he can't check his non-existent system, he could at least try to use his skill. He walks away from them, out to the training ground, his sister and the hooded man talk a bit. "He might be devastated with what he might get." The man looked at Kain's sister and commented to her little commet, "Or he might be happy, he seems to have changed, what happened to him exactly, madam?". Kain's sister looks at the hooded man and said "He told me he hit his head and now forgot lots of his memories, I can't fully believe that but his actions prove that something might have happened." The man looks intrigued, "I remember a man that I used to know, this exact situation happened to him, but he turned into a mad-man instead, he used to be normal. So this could explain a lot of your brothers actions, Mrs Claire", "Calm down old man, that name, I have forsaken it, do not call me by it.", "As you wish." The man smirks as he says that.
A few seconds pass by without them talking, "Well excuse me, it is my time to head out.", "Have a safe trip old man."
Kain walks up to them before the hooded man leaves, "I did some testing and it was pretty good for a level 0 Efficiency skill." The hooded man puts on a smile, "Well of course young Kain, a level 0 Efficiency skill is not like a level 1.. wait, did you say level 0?" Kain's sister seems confused too, how did they notice it before but didn't get to comment on it. "Wait x3, touch the crystal ball again, I want to check something." says the hooded man. Kain touches the crystal ball, and it shatters, the skill of his automatically activated. Was it to protect what the skill had for information, or the Efficiency of the skill? The hooded man looks in awe, this is quite the new occurence that has happened. Never in his life has this happened. Even his sister looks surprised, this happened exactly after her brother touched the crystal ball which made her question what might have caused this.
Kain thinks to himself, 'Was this because of my ability? I didn't even activate it, did it already have the "Automatic activation"? No way, the skill's Efficiency was at level 0, there is no way it can activate on it's own then..' This matter was confusing for everyone present, the hooded man doesn't question any further, "I will look into it, for now, rest well young Kain and madam."
