It's appearance was nothing but a miracle, a gift from God.
This gift was meant for everybody and allowed the worthless to regain some semblance of their humanity and the weak to show they can have an impact on the world, But each gift wasn't the same.
When the tower appeared, it sat in the centre of world. 'Greenwich, London". May 11th 2020 a date grieved by many and celebrated by some.
Then came the rifts, but nothing came out. Humanity was given a chance and a message appeared to all Evolved humans that the tutorial must be completed within 10 days. At first, some EVO's went into the tower but others ignored the message and did nothing.
Rifts are ripples in space which allow anyone to venture into parts of a fallen world and gain power and glory. All new awakened were called EVO. Stands for Evolved human. Evolved humans are being that were blessed with the tower of dreams' power and given a system window. They are the pillar and the first line of defence for humanity.
The creation of POTW Guild was the start to a pandemic in this new world and there reach spanned the entire globe. With their Leader Lucifer aka Paragon of light. They started a movement for the protection and safety of all humans.

Power provides enough to satisfy every man's needs, but not every man's greed and thus was born the EVO's who were known to be called Hounds.
Hounds are humans of nature who only seek glory and fame while letting those under them rot and die.
After EVO's came into the world, so did a new ranking system. Each awakened had a rank and that gave them wealth and fame above any means and with that came a hierarchy.
The beginning of a cruel world made by humans.
10 floors in the tutorial.
On a local estate in London, lived a young boy named Arthur. Aged 14, he was walking home with his father after going shopping. "Dad, did you see Lucifer on the TV? He is so strong." says Arthur.
"What did he do?" replied his dad. As they walk side by side, Arthur stopped for a moment and put his arm up in the air like he was about to do a one handed sword strike and his dad was Infront of him looking back at him and he looked scared. SPLAT.
His dad gets flattened Infront of him and he softly says "dad." and looks above him. A giant spider creature and he stands there locked in place. He starts to shiver out of fear as one of it's other legs is coming towards him and the screams and destruction around him feel muffled and he hears able his own heartbeat and the blood rushing around his body getting louder and louder.
THUMP THUMP THUMP.
As the leg moves closer and closer, he doesn't move until the last second where he gets saved by an EVO.
While getting carried away, Arthur looks back at this creature and sees there's a crater where his father's dismembered corpse lies. He reaches his arm out and tries to call for his father but nothing.
Lucifer arrives and in that moment he cuts off the legs on one side of the spider making it fall over. "Filthy beast" he says and he unlocks evolution. A wave of power surges around him and he moves at a fast speed chopping it up. Other EVO's that cleared the 10th floor arrive as well and it was all over.
That once eccentric and energetic young boy looks hollow. Like the soul of a man that has lost everything. Arthur is just sitting Infront of the telly as he watches the news. "This evening a memorial will be held for all the lives lost in this horrific invasion. Devastation and sadness as we all mourn all over the world."
Arthur doesn't have the strength within himself to get angry and just watches. "Come on Art. Let's go" says his Mother. Arthur gets up and leaves as the news continues by saying "In a less dreadful news. Lucifer. The saviour the UK says he will create a global guild to have protect and keep everyone safe. He said it will be called..."
The volume of the news gets lower and lower as it gets drowned out by the sound of rain.
A mass memorial was held as Arthur stood there holding his mothers hand. He let's go and walks towards the stone and looks at his fathers name. He slides his hand over and hangs his head down while the rain continues to pour. An umbrella appears on top of him and there stands Lucifer right next to him. A man that Arthur once adored and looked up too but he felt nothing but hatred for him and all the other Awakened.
10 years later
Arthur laying on the floor in an alleyway with an empty bottle of spirit alcohol next to him. "WAKE UP I SAID" says a homeless man as he kicks him. Arthur slowly gets up and the man says "That's my spot and I've been here for a lot longer then you have mate. So fuck off".
Arthur moves slowly as he is inebriated but he gets out of there. A poster on the with the top half ripped off saying "Never forget her name." and below it saying "Isabella Jones". A mockingbird on the poster.
He gets to his apartment and walks past the hanging pictures of his family and the mess that he is and has collected over the years. He goes to his bed and puts his phone on the table top with a cracked screen showing the divide in his family. A message pops up as he dozes off "Job tonight at 8".
Arthur wakes up several hours later and sits up first with a miserable look on his face. He gets his phone and sees the message and checks the time. Only 30 minutes left before the raid. He puts his clothes on and walks to his front door. He looks at his family pictures and says "Hi Mom and Dad." and he pauses briefly then continues by saying "Another day has passed and I'm still here." He says with a sad expression and He puts his hand on the wall leaning against it and he starts to cry.
Each rift has it's own ranking assigned to it to show the difficulty of it. The rankings start from F and highest ever recorded rift has been an S rank rift which devastated a whole country 3 years ago before it was finally closed.
Arthur aged 24 is a non awakened and works as a porter. Average humans are used as porter to collect the corpse of monster and mana stones found in dungeons.
"Late again Art" says Dave his Team Lead. He slaps him on the back of the head as they start to head inside.
Rifts are a dangerous place and advised to those who want to go inside. Because anything can happen.
As they all enter, the porters wait for the EVO's to go ahead as they wait behind but they have to keep moving every 10 minutes to make sure everything Infront is dead.
The team lead stands Infront of the others and gives his speech. "He's going to give that speech again, isn't he..".
"I can hear you and yes I am. This is an F rank rift. The possibility of something dangerous happening is close to 0 but there is always that slim chance of it happening. So be careful." A sigh and tired "yes" is said by the team collectively and they start to move. They begin by collecting the corpses of goblins and the mana cores they have inside them.
Each awakened has an inventory but as they fill it, it affects their movement and that is why the role porter exists. They have magic inventory bag which can suck in everything they collect without making them feel heavy until a certain amount of capacity is reached. Physique of the person can increase the amount they can carry.
Goblin skin is used as a type of leather for clothing. The mana cores are used in magical engineering that became a revolutionary industry and increased the marvel of science forever.
They kept going on ahead and have been working for hours. Until they finally reached the EVOs. They were sitting around on top of goblins at a crossroads. "I won't sacrifice my EVOs." says the Captain of the Raiders team lead James Dye. The vice captain nodded his head (Richardson). "Oh here come the scavs". The porters were looked at as prey for predators with a death stare from all of them.
"Oi you, come here." says the vice captain to one of the porters. "We will give you an extra £1000 if you drink this." The idiot drank it without a second thought and a extreme smell came from his body. some of the people covered their noses and one of the porters exclaimed "what is that smell?"
Richardson tells the porter to go stand at the crossroads and he does. Everything goes quiet. A faint banging noise is heard. The EVO's get ready for battle. The paths ahead of the porter are dark. He stands Infront of one of the crossroads and he looks back and asks "What's going on?". He sees the look on shock and horror on both the EVOs and the porters. He doesn't even get a chance to look ahead before a
