Chapter 2 - Aiden's Yearning

Adien's POV

I am Prince Adien, the oldest son of the king and the strongest Alpha in the whole kingdom. At 25 years old, I have always been in control. My life is full of duties... training with swords, meeting with advisors, planning for wars that might come. The palace is my home, a place of gold walls and big rooms, but it feels cold sometimes. I never let my feelings show. Alphas like me have to be strong... no weakness, no distractions. Women and Omegas throw themselves at me in the court, but I push them away. Power is what matters, not silly desires.

But now... everything is different. That boy from the village... Nalia. His name echoes in my head like a drum that won't stop. I can't forget him. It started with his scent. That sweet, pulling smell that hit me during the hunt. We were riding through the woods, chasing a deer, when it caught me. Like honey mixed with fresh rain... so strong it made my horse restless. I followed it without thinking, leaving my men behind. And there he was, in that dirty field, looking up at me with those green eyes.

I pace in my chamber now, the stone floor cold under my boots. The sun is setting outside the window, painting the room in orange light. My fists are tight... knuckles white. Why does he affect me like this? He's just a peasant Omega... 21 years old, from what he said. Nothing special on the outside. Messy hair, simple clothes covered in mud. But his body... soft curves under that rough tunic. And his scent... gods, his scent. It clings to me even now, hours later. I can still smell it on my skin, mixed with the sweat from what we did.

I close my eyes, leaning against the wall. Memories flood back. In that field, when I touched him... his arm was warm, trembling a little. He didn't fight me. No, he leaned in, like his Omega instincts knew what to do. I kissed his neck first... tasted the salt on his skin. He moaned so softly, it drove me wild. My Alpha side took over... the need to claim, to dominate. I pushed him down in the grass, stripping him bare. His body was perfect... smooth chest, narrow waist, and lower... he was already wet for me, slick shining in the sun.

I groan now, alone in my room. My body reacts just thinking about it. Heat builds in my groin... my pants feel tight. I shouldn't... but I can't help it. I undo my belt, sliding my hand down. My cock is hard, throbbing at the memory. I stroke slowly, picturing him. How he gasped when I entered him... tight heat wrapping around me. He was a virgin, I think... so innocent, but eager. His legs around my waist, pulling me deeper. We moved together... fast, rough. His nails dug into my back. I bit his shoulder, marking him with my teeth. Not a full bond mark, but close. His cries... "Aiden... please..." It pushed me over the edge. I came inside him, filling him up.

I speed up my strokes now, breathing heavy. The room spins a bit. In my mind, I see his face twisted in pleasure, green eyes half-closed. His scent everywhere... pulling me in. I imagine doing it again... taking him in my bed, slow this time. Exploring every inch. Licking his slick, making him beg. My hand moves faster... pressure building. I grunt, leaning my head back. Release comes hard... spilling over my fingers. I pant, sliding down the wall to sit on the floor. Messy... but it eases the ache a little.

But not enough. The yearning is still there, like a fire that won't go out. Why him? I've had others before... quick flings with court Omegas who meant nothing. But Nalia... he's different. His pheromones are rare, I think. Strong enough to call me from miles away. What if my brothers smell it too? There are ten of us princes... all Alphas, all competitive. Blake, the second oldest, always tries to take what's mine. If he finds out about Nalia... no. I won't let that happen. I have to claim him first... make him mine alone.

I stand up, cleaning myself with a cloth from the table. The palace is quiet now, servants gone for the night. I look out the window at the dark fields beyond the walls. The village is out there... Nalia probably sleeping in some small hut. Does he think about me? Does his body ache like mine? I want to go back right now... ride through the night, find him, take him again. But I can't. Not yet. Rumors spread fast. If the king hears about a prince fooling with a peasant... trouble.

I sit at my desk, picking up a map of the kingdom. Duties first. Always duties. We have borders to watch, enemies plotting. But my mind wanders. What if I bring him here? Make him a servant or something. Keep him close... in my bed every night. The thought makes me hard again. No... focus. I shake my head, trying to read the map. Lines blur. His face appears instead.

A knock at the door. I tense. "Who is it?"

"Blake, brother." His voice... smug as always.

I open the door a crack. He's there, leaning on the frame, his red hair messy, eyes sharp. "What do you want?"

He sniffs the air... subtle, but I see it. "You smell different. Had some fun today?"

My heart skips. Does he know? "None of your business. Go away."

He laughs. "Come on, share. I heard you stopped in a village during the hunt. Meet someone interesting?"

I push the door shut, but he stops it with his foot. "Aiden... whatever it is, I might want a taste too."

Rage boils in me. "Touch him and I'll kill you."

His eyes widen... then he grins. "Him? Oh, interesting. Tell me more."

I slam the door, locking it. My fists shake. He knows something. Or suspects. I pace again, mind racing. I have to protect Nalia... get to him before Blake does. But how? The night is dark... perfect for sneaking out.

I grab my cloak, heading to the secret passage in the wall. The palace has hidden ways... for escapes or meetings. I slip out, into the cool air. The stables are near. My horse waits, loyal. I mount up, urging him forward. The gates open quietly... guards look away, knowing not to question me.

The road to the village is long, but I ride fast. Wind whips my face. Thoughts of Nalia drive me... his soft skin, his moans. I need him again. Tonight.

As I near the village, lights are off... everyone asleep. His hut... I remember the field, so it must be close. I tie the horse, sneaking through the shadows. There... a small house with a thatched roof. I peek in the window. And there conniving Blake was, towering over Nalia who watched him get closer with horror in his eyes, he had gotten here before me! I wasn't surprised though, Blake was known foe having the best sense of smell amongst us ... he could trace a prey a thousand miles away.

"Blake!" I yelled, he looked at me and before i could get into the room through the window, he jumped through the other one and disaapeared into the night.

I push the door open . It creaks hard. Nalia looks at me "Aiden"

I step inside, closing the door. "I couldn't stay away."

He sits up, blanket falling. He's shirtless... skin glowing in the moonlight. "What if someone sees?"

I move closer, pulling him into my arms. "I don't care." My lips find his... kiss deep and hungry. He melts into me, hands on my chest. Heat rises again. I push him back on the bed, climbing over. Clothes come off fast. His body under mine... perfect fit. I enter him quick this time... he gasps, clutching me.

We move together... passionate, urgent. His scent fills the room, driving me wild. "Mine," I growl, thrusting deeper.

"Yes... yours"
