The girl in front of me looked at me, probably out of pity or something.So I waited for her to leave but she stayed.
"Here you might need this, so please take this.
"I'm sorry but I refuse.I don't need to take something that someone like you needs."
I refused her kind gesture but she kept on insisting that I take her umbrella.I didn't know what she wanted but she was just a stranger.
"Who are you miss?"
"Who am I? Why do you ask such a funny question hehe."
I didn't seem to recall who she was but started to look at her from head to toe.She had the same class uniform from my school.She had beautiful silver hair and violet eyes that reminds me of wisteria. The more I look at her the more things I remember and that was when I remembered who she was.
"Your name is Yuki Ayame, the vampire princess of our school!"
"Your correct Akari hehehe~"
That was the first time that someone other than my family called me by my first name.The girl was name Yuki Ayame and like her title suggests, she has the looks of a vampire and the personality of one.
"Well I still insist that you take my umbrella."
"No I refuse"
"But why won't you take it?"
"I told you the reason already."
"Well did you notice what I did.Here's a hint, you are not...
She did something?Well whatever she done was not really noticeable.Well I'm not doing what right now?I look at a puddle and see my reflection and see myself with no tears just red eyes.
"That's what you did.Im not crying anymore huh."
"Yep Akari you're correct once again~"
"Still I want to ask one question to you"
"Well whatever is it?"
"Why do you talk to someone like me.I'm just a background character compared to you, so why?"
She stops for a second and sits down next to me.She moves closer to me and looks directly at my eyes.I stare back at her's and she starts to answer my question.
"Well the reason is you helped me before."
"I helped you before?"
"Yes, at the mall, you helped me with a bunch of boys trying to hit on me."
"Right I remembered that now."
A random day when I was out shopping I see Ayame and a group of boys.The boys started to use pick up lines and bribery to get her to come with them.Of course she declined but they kept insisting.
I couldn't take anymore and went over there and told them I was her boyfriend and that they should scramble.The group runs away and I apologize to Ayame about what happen.She didn't worry so I left and went about my merry day.
"I wanted to return the favor."
"I didn't it out of pure kindness.I don't need any favors from no one."
" Well your out in the cold and you look like you needs a shower."
She wasn't wrong.I was in a desperate need of a shower and I had no where else to go.So what other choice do I have.
"Fine I agree.I'll take you up on your offer."
"Yay~Come on and follow me"
I got under her umbrella and the two of us starts to walk in the rain under the canopy of the beautiful Wisteria.
