They combined their powers. Sun and Moon fused. They created a Beam of Creation. Pure, raw existence. They tried to overwrite Kuro's decay with new life.
Kuro fell to his knees. He was just a man. He could not fight Creation itself.
"I need help," Kuro thought. He looked at the ground. Beneath him was the Tomb.
Kuro slammed his rotting hand into the earth. He sent his Decay down. He rotted the stone. He rotted the iron bars. He rotted the seal of the Monarchs.
"Grandfather!" Kuro screamed into the dark. "Wake up! They are hurting us!"
Beneath the crust, the violet eye opened wide.
The Seal broke.
