Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: The True Nature of Naruto Uzumaki

Rather than challenging Yasu, it was more like observing the reactions of the three.

Only Sakura had a portion of the lunch, and it was very small—barely enough for a girl like her to feel half-full, let alone the two guys beside her.

If the three tried to share it, they'd likely have no strength left to challenge Yasu in the afternoon.

"I think Kakashi didn't even want us to win!" Sasuke's eyebrows knitted together, annoyed.

"What should we do? Sasuke, you eat it then."

Sakura immediately handed her lunchbox to Sasuke, while her own stomach growled.

"Little Sakura, can I eat it, just one bite?"

Naruto's saliva was already dripping, his eyes glued to the lunchbox in Sakura's hands.

"No way. Sasuke is the key to winning in the afternoon. He must eat!"

Hiding in the bushes, Kakashi shook his head helplessly at the scene.

"Yasu, keep an eye on them for me. I have something to take care of."

Yasu's heart leapt with joy, though his face remained reluctantly serious.

"Kakashi-sensei is leaving? What if we encounter an enemy?"

For Yasu, this was perfect news.

Now the three of Team 7 were in a pinch—and with Kakashi gone, he could rake in a ton of affection points.

"Well, it's still Konoha. No one would dare come here to mess with you little guys."

Yasu's lips twitched.

Is Konoha really that safe? Otherwise, how did Sasuke get kidnapped, get caught in that "Bag of Rice" jutsu, and nearly blow up the whole village?

The thought made Yasu shiver.

When the Fourth Great Ninja War officially begins, if he doesn't boost his strength beforehand, he might die in the chaos.

"Well, it's only a short time. Nothing to worry about," Kakashi sighed, and disappeared.

Yasu couldn't help but grin.

For ordinary people, improving strength meant endless training. But for Yasu, it meant constantly increasing affection points and signing in.

With Kakashi gone, Yasu didn't hesitate and jumped into action.

"Sasuke didn't eat. That's mine!"

Seeing Yasu appear, Sakura hurriedly snatched the lunchbox and stuffed the rest into her mouth.

Naruto stared at the empty lunchbox, finally clutching his stomach as it growled.

"Stop pretending. I'm not Kakashi-sensei. I'm not that strict."

"But I really haven't had a bite…" Naruto pouted.

Yasu let out a wry smile.

Naruto truly was the biggest simp, constantly thinking about Sakura, while Sakura didn't care at all.

Even though Team 7 was the protagonist team, everyone had their little quirks, making Kakashi's job as a teacher extremely difficult.

No wonder in Naruto, Kakashi mainly taught Sasuke, while the other two found different instructors.

"I know you're all hungry, so I'll show you a way," Yasu said, pointing to a nearby small lake.

"A lake? You can't eat a lake."

"Naruto, you idiot! There are fish in the lake!" Sakura smacked Naruto on the head, then looked at Yasu with a pleading expression. "Really… it's okay? Kakashi-sensei won't punish us, right?"

Yasu smiled wryly. No wonder Naruto was so obsessed with Sakura. His gaze alone could make anyone melt.

"Don't worry. I've got this!"

[Ding! Sakura Haruno affection +2! Current: 61 points! Can sign in!]

"Sign in, Sakura Haruno!"

[Ding! Sign-in successful! You've obtained Chakra Control! Affection +4! Current: 65 points!]

Yasu's eyes lit up.

Chakra Control was part of the ninja school's curriculum. Kakashi had shown it to him last night, but it was like advanced math for Yasu.

Now, with Sakura's mastery of Chakra Control signed in, all the previously confusing concepts clicked into place.

Following the textbook, Yasu's chakra control and reserves would improve significantly.

He nodded with satisfaction, glancing at Sakura with newfound approval.

"Quickly, catch some fish. Control your chakra to stand on the water. If your clothes get wet, Kakashi-sensei will notice."

Naruto, half-dead from hunger, suddenly lit up and ran over to Yasu, excitedly shouting:

"If our clothes get wet, Kakashi-sensei will notice! Should we just strip and go in naked?"

Yasu's mouth twitched.

Naruto wasn't as innocent as he seemed; otherwise, he wouldn't have developed the Seduction Jutsu.

Even more, Naruto's student, Konohamaru, used it fully clothed, while Naruto himself left nothing to the imagination.

Seduction Jutsu was essentially a Transformation Jutsu, requiring careful observation to execute properly.

With only one family member at home, Naruto's "observation skills" were unparalleled.

Just by telling him not to wet his clothes, Naruto immediately came up with a workaround. He was definitely an experienced trickster.

Sakura didn't buy Naruto's excuse and had a reasonable explanation herself.

"Naruto, what are you talking about?"

"I'm just… trying to avoid getting caught by Kakashi-sensei! Which is worse—being expelled or stripping to fish?"

"You! I choose… not to eat!"

"What about the afternoon battle then?"

Yasu rolled his eyes, no longer able to tolerate Naruto's antics.

"I think Naruto is right. To go in the water, you must strip."

"S-Sensei, you too?" Sakura hugged herself, face red as a beet.

"Alright, Sasuke and Naruto go catch fish in the lake. Sakura, gather some dry wood." Yasu coughed and hurriedly gave instructions.

Sakura's face turned even redder.

She realized she had misunderstood Yasu. He'd been helping her all along.

Could it be… talking to Kakashi-sensei, he was thinking of her?

Looking closely, Yasu was handsome—and most importantly, incredibly skilled!

[Ding! Sakura Haruno affection +3! Current: 68 points!]

[Ding! Naruto Uzumaki affection -1! Current: 54 points!]

Yasu's brow twitched. Sakura's increase was normal, but Naruto actually lost affection points?

Yasu let out a cold laugh. It was time to teach Naruto a lesson.

Time for him to experience Yasu's newly developed jutsu: Spiral Thousand Years Kill!
