It was the 46th year of Konoha, and in a secluded little house, a flash of light appeared, followed by a human figure materializing inside.
"Finally, I managed to crack Piccolo Daimao's defenses," the person said, a sigh escaping him as he looked at the single drop of blood he'd struggled so desperately to obtain. This was Qianqiu Sa-na.
He had been transmigrated to the world of Naruto for thirteen years now. When he first realized he was in the Naruto universe, he had mentally drafted many paths for his future.
He considered the route of using scientific research to transplant a Kekkei Genkai (Bloodline Limit), or perhaps becoming an apprentice to one of the Sannin to learn Senjutsu (Sage Mode). Failing that, just being a plain, unremarkable Ninjutsu scholar would have been fine.
But reality quickly gave him a harsh wake-up call.
His Chakra reserves were decent, but his Ninjutsu aptitude was absolutely terrible. Similar to the future Rock Lee, he had almost no talent for Ninjutsu or Genjutsu (Illusionary Techniques), and he even faced the prospect of being encouraged to drop out.
Fortunately, Konoha at that time could still be considered a "lighthouse" of the Ninja world. Considering his parents were Chunin who sacrificed their lives in the Second Great Ninja War—a service to Konoha—the Third Hokage, after consulting with Sa-na, allowed him to stay, despite his lousy talent.
In a sense, a mediocre student staying in the Ninja Academy actually poses a risk. This is because if a war breaks out and reaches a critical stage, even Academy students will be sent to the battlefield.
Sa-na insisted on staying, of course, for the Taijutsu (Body Technique) training. Even an average Academy teacher was a Chunin and certainly better than training by himself.
Crucially, the Multiverse Orb that brought him here was still active, allowing him to travel to other worlds. Even if he couldn't master Ninjutsu, he still had other options.
However, he considered himself too young before. If he traveled to a world more dangerous than Naruto, he'd be in serious trouble. Furthermore, the Orb warned him that once he started a trip, he had to remain in the destination world for at least one year before he could return to his home world. Thus, he lay in wait, diligently focusing on Taijutsu training.
He followed the training regimen similar to Rock Lee's in the original story and discovered his Taijutsu talent was quite good. While he couldn't compare to the super-geniuses, after eight years of intense training, he had reached a level nearly equivalent to a Taijutsu Jonin.
A Taijutsu Jonin sounds great, but in this world dominated by Ninjutsu, a pure Taijutsu specialist is easily countered. Techniques like Genjutsu and poisons would leave him virtually defenseless.
This is precisely why, even though his strength far surpassed most of his peers, he was happy to remain an unofficial repeat student at the Ninja Academy. It wasn't entirely a deliberate act of concealing his strength, as he genuinely couldn't even perform the basic Three Academy Jutsu.
Konoha hadn't yet implemented a system for specialists, and his lopsided skill set wasn't accepted by the mainstream.
As the time neared the Third Great Ninja War, Sa-na knew he couldn't wait any longer. Once the war exploded and reached its peak intensity, even if he didn't graduate, the Village would likely send him to the battlefield anyway.
So, he chose to initiate his first jump. And then, the unexpected happened—or perhaps, it was entirely predictable.
He materialized ten thousand meters in the air. Just as he lamented that his life was over, a magnificent Great Dragon suddenly blotted out the sky.
"Wait, is this the Dragon Ball world?" Sa-na didn't have time to be shocked or overthink things, nor did he worry about language barriers. He immediately shouted, at the top of his lungs, "Shenron, please grant me eternal life!"
To Sa-na's surprise, the languages of the two worlds were indeed mutually intelligible, and his wish was granted. Though he was smashed to smithereens upon impact, the power of his newly acquired immortality quickly restored him.
If he had the choice, he would have wished for a Saiyan bloodline to boost his combat power, but the reality was he had to ensure his survival first.
Furthermore, the strength of the immortal body allowed him to brutally exploit his body's potential for training. It was this cruel method that earned him the admiration of Master Shen (Tsuru-Sennin), allowing him to become his apprentice.
After learning how to use Ki, the first technique he mastered was the Floating Technique (Bukū-jutsu). He didn't want to repeat his previous experience, so learning to fly was a top priority.
His Taijutsu foundation from Konoha was solid, and the immortality allowed him to push his body to the absolute limit. In just one year, he managed to dominate Tien (Tenshinhan) at the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai (World Martial Arts Tournament). However, he still lost to Goku, who suddenly powered up mid-fight, earning him the runner-up position.
After the tournament, when he was planning to find the Dragon Balls to wish for a powerful bloodline, he coincidentally ran into a newly unsealed Piccolo Daimao (Great Demon King Piccolo), who was also searching for the Dragon Balls. It must be said that even the aging and weakened Piccolo was overwhelmingly powerful. Sa-na was utterly pulverized and had almost no chance to fight back.
Although he was immortal, there were simply too many ways to nullify his advantage. The simplest method was for Piccolo to dismember him and bury the pieces, which would have left him with the same fate as Hidan.
Therefore, when Sa-na first revealed his secret of immortality, he seized the single moment of Piccolo's shock, fought with all his might to injure him, and then returned to the Naruto world at top speed, bringing that single drop of blood with him.

His thoughts returned to the present. Sa-na carefully took out a small glass vial, collected the blood, and then pulled out a Capsule that he tossed onto the floor. With a light "pop," a briefcase appeared before him.
This was a Hoi-Poi Capsule (Universal Capsule) he bought in the Dragon Ball world. Aside from Piccolo's blood, the briefcase also contained a strand of Goku's hair—a backup plan he had considered earlier. The Multiverse Orb warned him that besides the Naruto world, which was bound as the "primary world," returning to any other world required a three-jump cooldown.
So, if he couldn't gain a Saiyan bloodline via a wish, he could still gain power by transplanting cells. Plus, this time, he also had Namekian blood.
"However, cell transplantation isn't simple. It looks like I need to find a way to get close to Orochimaru to study his cell transplant science," Sa-na mused. Suddenly, a question popped into his head: "Is my immortality still active?"
Given it was only a wish from the Earth's Shenron, it was highly unlikely to work across universes.
Thinking this, Sa-na casually picked up a kunai from the room and stabbed at his left index finger. With a "snap," the kunai instantly broke.
Sa-na shook his head slightly. The Ki training system clearly prioritized high physical resistance over magical resistance. Goku could shrug off bullets when he first appeared, and after training with Master Roshi, he could withstand bombardment. While part of this was due to the Saiyan physique, it demonstrated the sheer physical defense this training system offered.
Sa-na pushed a bit harder and shot a Dodon Ray (Dodonpa) straight through his left index finger.
He watched, expressionless, as if he felt no pain. The wound healed at a speed visible to the naked eye, becoming completely whole in about a minute.
"My immortality has been weakened, but it still has some effect," Sa-na thought.
If it were the original immortality, that small injury would have healed instantly. But he was satisfied; with his physical defense and recovery speed, very few people in the Naruto world would be able to kill him.
"And I still have Senzo Beans!" Sa-na looked at the cloth bag inside the briefcase. The thirty Senzu Beans inside were his greatest confidence boost.
The Senzu Beans hadn't been completely depleted by Yajirobe yet, allowing him to obtain so many from Korin (Cat Hermit).
As long as he wasn't instantly killed, he could recover with a Senzu Bean.
After placing the glass vial back in the briefcase, Sa-na took out four bracelets.
These were weighted training bracelets he had specially made in the Dragon Ball world. Sa-na put the four bracelets on his wrists and ankles, and he looked out at the quiet Konoha night. "My training for today isn't over yet. Time for a night run."
