Aetheris
Aetheris is a world with three continents, known as the Third of Progress of Thought, or more simply, Yurtha Land, Throne of Dawn, and Drflixia Ofloria.
These three continents are home to nations that have reached the pinnacle of modern civilization. No country is still developing, and magic has long been abandoned, having vanished 600 years ago, leaving behind only stories and myths.
In the present day, the three siblings of the Erratic Family live in this world.
The Erratic family is a humble household from the continent of Yurtha Land, residing in the country of Cyranthia, a nation renowned for its education and countless prestigious schools.
Felix Erratic, the youngest child, has an elder sister, Elena Erratic, and an elder brother, Rhett Erratic.
The three of them live together in a modest home, leading a peaceful life without worries or disturbances.
Elena Erratic, the eldest sibling, is 23 years old. She has been supporting her two younger siblings since she was 15, after their parents passed away. Occasionally, neighbors help the three children with donations to fund their schooling. Elena has a beautiful appearance, wears glasses, has bright purple pupils, and her hair is a reddish-purple shade.
Rhett Erratic, the middle sibling, is 20 years old. He was extremely popular during his time at Cyranthia Central High School but was also known as a troublemaker, even once almost killing a student who had insulted the Erratic family. He has a handsome face, bright red hair, and reddish-purple pupils.
Felix Erratic, the youngest, is similar to Rhett in looks but is not entirely a troublemaker. He understands his family situation and is a talented, intelligent student. He has a handsome face like Rhett, but his hair is dark purple, and his pupils are a vivid purple.
One day, feeling bored at home, Felix decided to step outside for some fresh air and a brief respite.
He visited several malls, buying food and clothes along the way.
While enjoying his day off at the mall, Felix met Alexa, his classmate.
Alexa greeted Felix cheerfully, "Hi, Fel! How are you? Hmm… It's rare to see this smart kid visiting the mall," she giggled.
"Hahaha… I'm just a little bored at home. Everyone's too busy with their phones. When I invite them to hang out, there's always an excuse, so I decided to go out alone," Felix replied.
The two of them continued walking around the mall, trying several games together.
"Hey Fel, try this basketball tossing game!"
"Sure!!"
They enjoyed the basketball game, then moved on to the claw machine.
"Fel! Can you try to get that cat plushie? It's so cute!"
With no other choice, Felix replied, "Heh, if I get it, it's yours!!"
He inserted the first coin, maneuvered the claw, and successfully grabbed the plushie Alexa wanted. "Hahaha, here you go!"
Alexa pouted a little since Felix got the cat plush, but because Felix didn't have the heart to refuse her, he gave it to her for free.
"Thank you, Fel! Sorry… even though you got it yourself…" Alexa said happily.
Felix just smiled, "It's fine, as long as the pretty girl's happy, that's enough for me~" he teased.
They laughed together, and since Felix had a few coins left, he tried the claw machine two more times, managing to get a teddy bear.
"Hmm? No coins left, Fel?" Alexa asked curiously.
Felix shook his head, "Nope, that was the last of them."
It wasn't yet late afternoon, so they went for lunch.
"Eh, Fel, let me treat you! Since you gave me the plushie hehe," Alexa offered.
Felix, being the type to accept free things without hesitation, agreed.
They ordered the same dish: ramen.
"Woah… The ramen here is just as good as anywhere else! No matter how long I eat it, I never get bored!"
Because Felix was curious about the taste of the ramen, Felix eventually tried it.
Slurrrp!
He tasted the ramen and found it incredibly delicious, the seasoning perfect, and the broth satisfying.
"Hmm, Lexa, how much is this ramen? It's so good I want to come back!" Felix said with joy.
Alexa chuckled, "Good, isn't it? And the price… only 214 Cyran, not expensive at all."
Felix froze, "214 Cyran..? WHOA, that's expensive! That could be my snack money for thirteen days."
Alexa realized Felix wasn't from a wealthy family, "Ah… I'm sorry, Fel… I forgot about your family's financial situation."
She reassured him that it was fine, as people often forget about others' circumstances.
Ten minutes later, they finished lunch.
"Felix! Wanna help me shop for clothes for a bit?"
Felix agreed.
They went to a clothing store filled with luxurious outfits.
"Alright Fel, wait here and tell me which ones look good… Oh, and pick a few for yourself too, I'll buy two hehe."
Once again given for free, Felix couldn't refuse and picked two simple outfits before returning to Alexa.
She called out from inside, "Fel, are you there?"
"Yes, I'm here," he replied.
Alexa came out showing the clothes she chose. "What do you think, Fel? Do they suit me?"
Felix thought, Wow… she's really beautiful!
"Wow, they look perfect, Lexa!"
After 20 minutes, Alexa paid for all four outfits, including the two Felix picked.
By late afternoon, Alexa said, "Fel, it's getting late, I'll head back!!"
"Yeah, take care, Alexa," Felix replied.
They parted ways, and Felix sat outside the mall amidst the crowd. Suddenly, a stranger approached him, offering a drink.
"Hey, young man… Want to try this drink? I'll give it for free."
Felix hesitated briefly. Free drink? Something feels off… But oh well, he thought, and accepted.
"Sure, sounds good, I'm thirsty anyway."
He took the bottle and drank it all.
"Fwah!"
After finishing, Felix felt slightly dizzy and something strange inside him.
Looking around, the man was gone. Felix began walking back home.
As he passed the crowd trying to hail a taxi, he noticed a commotion. Curious, he approached.
What he saw shocked him. The person lying on the ground was lifeless. Fear and confusion overwhelmed Felix.
An investigator arrived to examine the body. After checking, the investigator said the man was not human but an almost extinct alien.
The investigator speculated that he might be the last living alien and that they were likely all gone, with no reports of them anywhere.
Still in disbelief, Felix hurriedly left the scene and returned home.
Upon arriving, he felt strange symptoms in his body, as if his organs were shrinking, and he felt weak.
His elder sister Elena welcomed him. Seeing him exhausted, she asked, "Lix! What's wrong?!"
She checked his temperature and found he had a fever. Elena helped him to his room.
She fetched a cloth for warm compress and placed it on his forehead. While examining him, she noticed changes in his body.
His skin, once rough, now felt smooth. His body seemed to be shrinking. Worried, she left him to rest.
A while later, Rhett returned from campus. Elena informed him to watch over Felix, as something seemed off.
Rhett agreed and began observing Felix. Upon closer inspection, he realized that Felix's hair, once short, was now long…
