Allyson's POV
Kenneth stumbled backward, his eyes wide with shock. But Michael was already moving.
His fist crashed into Kenneth's face with a sickening crack that made my stomach lurch. Kenneth staggered, nearly losing his balance as the sound bounced off the walls.
Michael stood there breathing hard, his chest heaving like he'd just run a marathon. His knuckles were already turning red. "I've been wanting to do that for years," he growled, his voice thick with hatred.
Kenneth touched his split lip, blood coating his fingers. When he looked up, his eyes burned with matching fury. "So what stopped you?" he challenged, squaring his shoulders.
"Stop it, both of you-" Orton pushed between them, his palm flat against Kenneth's chest. "This isn't the place. Not now."
Every muscle in Michael's body was coiled tight, ready to spring. The silence stretched until finally he spoke through gritted teeth.
"Fine. I'm done here. Only for you, Orton."
