Allyson's POV
I stepped through Michael's office door, my heart hammering against my ribs. He sat behind his desk in that crisp white shirt that hugged every defined muscle of his torso. The expensive suit emphasized his broad shoulders and lean waist.
He was absolutely breathtaking.
His dark eyes were fixed on his computer screen, his jaw set in concentration. Pure authority radiated from every line of his body. The moment I crossed the threshold, though, his focus snapped to me like a magnet.
Those piercing eyes met mine first, then swept down my figure with deliberate slowness. Heat bloomed across my skin as his gaze traced my curves, lingering on my hips and waist.
I could feel him drinking me in, memorizing every detail. So I made sure to put on a show. My hips swayed just a fraction more than usual, my steps measured and graceful, designed to drive him wild.
