I sat behind my mahogany desk, staring at the laptop screen where twelve international investors discussed quarterly projections and market forecasts. Numbers flew across the screen, charts updated in real time, and voices droned through my speakers about logistics that should have commanded my full attention.
Instead, my mind was consumed by one thought.
Allyson.
My body ached with need, every muscle tense with frustration. Earlier in the bathroom, she had pushed me to the brink, begged me to take her, only to walk away when I wanted to prove my control. The memory of her flushed skin and desperate whispers made my jaw clench.
I had not touched another woman in months. Had not wanted anyone else. Only her.
Now the wanting burned through my veins like fire, making it impossible to concentrate on anything but the throbbing between my legs.
