Before our car had even come to a complete stop, Lisha was practically climbing over me to press her face against the window, vibrating with barely contained excitement.
The moment we stepped onto the pristine driveway, I had to give credit where it was due. This wasn't just impressive - it was the kind of exclusive retreat where billionaires came to vanish from the world and indulge every whim.
Lisha let out an exaggerated gasp beside me. "Holy shit. This place is absolutely stunning! Finally, I get invited to one of these luxury getaways."
I kept my mouth shut, focusing instead on Reagan who was uncharacteristically subdued next to her.
Usually, he'd have some pretentious comment ready or find a way to make everything about himself. Tonight though? Nothing. For the first time in recent memory, I actually preferred his silence.
