They followed a radio signal to a survivor camp—but found it slaughtered.
Dozens of bodies, torn open. Blood drying on the walls. A sign written in desperate red paint:
"THE SECOND EVOLUTION HAS BEGUN."
Geo whispered, "Second… evolution?"
Lolly bent down, touching a corpse. "These weren't killed by normal zombies."
Eko nodded. "Claws. Teeth too long. Something stronger did this."
A groan echoed.
A survivor crawled out, half-conscious, clutching Geo's leg.
"They… they climb now."
Then he died.
