Jack looked at the creature.
Jack: "Damn, this creature is something. Where did this thing even come from?"
He glanced at Philp.
Jack: "You run, Philp. I'll handle this."
Philp: "Okay, then I'll go. Be careful. May the Sand be with you."
Jack: "Okay, okay."
The creature suddenly looked at Jack.
It smiled.
In an instant, it shifted toward him.
Jack calmly reached out, grabbed its face, and threw it into a nearby building.
BOOM!
The creature emerged from the rubble.
But its shape had changed.
It began laughing.
Creature: "Hee… hee… heeee…"
Then, without warning, it charged toward Jack.
Jack barely dodged the attack.
Jack: "This damn creature can become this much stronger in just a few seconds? Why won't you just die peacefully?"
Jack began releasing an enormous amount of energy.
It wasn't Aura.
It was something else.
But the creature broke through Jack's defense and suddenly attacked from the side.
Jack narrowly dodged the kick, but the force of the attack destroyed several nearby buildings.
Jack's expression changed.

The sand beneath them began trembling.
Jack looked down.
