Niven spent the entire night studying everything in the laboratory. His curiosity over the work his father once pursued kept driving him forward.
"It seems like I could never fully grasp everything my father worked on."
"Maybe I'll try out some of these mysterious machines first."
He couldn't figure out how to operate the machine, until he accidentally pressed a button at random, and a black dot appeared, hovering above the device, which looked like some kind of projection machine.
"What is this… a projected image? Just a black and dark dot? What did I expect it to be?"
But being rather careless, Niven just ignored it.Since the clock on his phone showed midnight, he decided to head home. Before leaving, though, he tried to sell some items from the laboratory to make some pocket money.
"It's already late… maybe I should go home, but before that, I'll sell something that looks valuable here, haha. Forgive me, Dad."
And Niven went back to his dorm without feeling any guilt at all.
