Chapter 6 - 6

Kirito's Chakra reserves were far inferior to Minato Namikaze's. If he continued dragging things out, he would surely lose.

So—he made a gamble.

He was going to fight Minato head-on.

Kirito stared at the incoming Flying Thunder God kunai.

When the kunai was only inches away, Kirito didn't even need to look—he already knew Minato was about to appear.

He swung the Seven Star Sword toward the direction of the incoming kunai.

The moment the Seven Star Sword struck it, redirecting its trajectory, Minato appeared in that exact instant.

Seeing the kunai bounce upward above Kirito's head, Minato's expression remained calm.

How could someone like Minato not understand?

Kirito had pulled out two special ninja tools. He clearly intended to go all-out.

These tools were unlike ordinary weapons. Minato didn't know what powers they held—

But he knew one thing for certain:

He absolutely must not allow himself to be hit by them.

Even when Kirito swung the Seven Star Sword fiercely at him, Minato easily twisted his body mid-air and avoided it entirely.

But just as Minato was about to counterattack, something felt wrong.

Although the Seven Star Sword hadn't touched him directly, Minato felt a strange sensation along his skin—like something had sliced through him.

Instantly, Minato concluded:

This sword must have an unusual attack angle. Even if it didn't visibly hit him, it grazed him.

But Kirito was still in range.

He couldn't waste the opportunity.

Above them, the Flying Thunder God kunai still circled.

In the next moment—Minato appeared above Kirito.

A Rasengan the size of a volleyball formed instantly in Minato's right hand and slammed straight down toward Kirito's face.

Kirito's heart lurched in terror.

Thankfully—

Seven Star Sword in one hand, Bashōsen in the other.

Kirito swung the Bashōsen in front of his face just in time.

"Boom!"

"Boom!! Boom!!!"

A crisp explosive sound echoed.

Then the Rasengan's remaining force transmitted through the Bashōsen and into Kirito's entire body.

The impact felt like it would tear him apart.

Kirito was blasted backward more than ten meters, sliding across the ground.

The Bashōsen flew from his grasp.

He only stopped after slamming into a massive tree—nearly breaking it.

Kirito gritted his teeth, endured the pain, and staggered to his feet. Breath ragged, he lifted the Seven Star Sword while glaring at Minato with bloodshot eyes.

Minato stared at him for a moment—clearly shocked.

Because he knew exactly how strong that Rasengan was.

He had gathered Chakra deliberately for that strike.

For a Genin—no, for anyone—to survive that hit and still stand…

Minato could hardly believe it.

His eyes dropped to the Seven Star Sword in Kirito's hand—and the Bashōsen lying on the ground.

Minato's sharp gaze immediately caught something:

The Bashōsen had a Flying Thunder God mark on it earlier—but now, after being knocked away, the mark was too far for him to instantly teleport onto Kirito.

For a split second—Minato felt something unbelievable.

"Did this kid intentionally throw the fan away…?"

"…Why does it feel like he understands my techniques perfectly?"

More importantly, Minato noticed something else.

His Rasengan hadn't left a single mark on the Bashōsen.

This was abnormal.

If it were an ordinary ninja tool, forget Rasengan—even regular taijutsu would've dented or shattered it.

If this tool wasn't damaged at all…

Then it wasn't ordinary at all.

Minato reached a conclusion:

The two tools Kirito wielded were not regular ninja tools.

They were beyond Kage-tier.

Perhaps even beyond that.

While Minato observed him, Kirito glanced at the inscriptions carved into the Seven Star Sword.

Because the text was facing him, Minato could not see it.

After reading it, Kirito quickly put the sword away.

He then took out a small gourd from his pouch. Guided by Chakra, the gourd grew larger and larger, until it became the iconic purple-gold gourd.

Kirito really wanted to say:

"Minato Namikaze, if I call you an idiot, do you dare answer?"

But this world had rules—and the Purple Gold Gourd was not activated that way.

Minato saw Kirito's movements and frowned slightly.

"Perhaps I truly underestimated you. You are no ordinary Cloud Genin."

"The tools you carry can only be used by Kage-level shinobi—or perhaps even they cannot obtain the materials needed to make such weapons."

"And your strange movement technique… proves you're anything but normal."

Minato's attitude had undergone a complete shift.

He reevaluated Kirito entirely.

"I am truly sorry. Even though you are still a child… I must bring you back to Konoha."

Kirito almost spat blood.

Why is Minato so stubborn?!

Why does he insist on being my enemy?!

Fine then—

If he wants to die, Kirito will fulfill his wish.

Pop!

Kirito opened the stopper of the Purple Gold Gourd and pointed it directly at Minato.

A smirk curled the corner of his mouth.

"Minato Namikaze, you want to erase me, right? Aren't you afraid I'll destroy your beloved Konoha in the future?"

The moment the gourd faced him, Minato felt danger.

A powerful sense of crisis washed over him.

But Minato's expression remained composed.

He intended to hear what Kirito had to say next—

But instead, Kirito unleashed that line.

Minato froze for half a second.

But with his iron will, he quickly regained composure.

"You are too strange. Your techniques and tools are beyond my understanding."

"You say you want to destroy Konoha—given enough time, you might truly be capable of it."

"But for that very reason… I must capture you."

"Perhaps Hokage-sama can uncover secrets hidden inside you."

Kirito sneered.

"Minato Namikaze, stop overthinking. You can't catch me."

"You've chased me relentlessly. I'll repay you one day."

"I won't kill you first—I'll start with the people around you. I'll destroy Konoha. And your Third Hokage? I'll kill him in front of you."

"And your friends—watching them die one by one must hurt terribly."

"Oh, and Minato… I don't know if you're married yet, but I won't spare your wife—nor any children you might have."

Minato's eyes grew cold.

He knew this was psychological warfare—meant to provoke him.

He had encountered many similar enemies on the battlefield, but this brat's tongue was poisonous.

He even mentioned his wife… and implied he had a son.

What was he planning?

Minato was truly angry now.

He extended both hands—each holding four kunai—and crossed his arms.

Kirito raised an eyebrow.

Spiral Flash Super Round Dance Howl Style Three?

He almost said the name aloud—

But held himself back.

He watched Minato closely, waiting for the line he had been anticipating.

"You are extremely dangerous… a huge threat."

"For Konoha, for Hokage-sama, for my comrades, and for Kushina—today, I must…"

Minato didn't finish.

Because Kirito burst into wild laughter.

"I've been waiting for that line… hehehe…"

A terrifying suction force erupted from the Purple Gold Gourd—

Engulfing Minato Namikaze directly.
