Chapter 7 - Chapter Seven

Chapter Seven

'What dire incident could've occurred?' Ollivia shifts back still caught up in the middle of this spiky net. The action gives shivers similar to when a bullet is loaded in a gun pointing towards you.

"What did I do?" Ollivia asks, a bit frightened. She's already weak from that stupid conversation she had with her dumb ass attractive ex, and now she's been lunged to battle unprepared without a shield.

A resonant thick voice booms from behind, "We just wanna ask you a few questions."

She squeezes her face in anger. "For what? Why do you have to circle me like this?" This may sound dumb, but it'd be better if they were thieves, she already doesn't have anything in her life.

Another comes closer to her. "You'll have to come with us." He says, "Miss, we need to ask you questions concerning the incident that happened at your place of work, specifically in the VIP room."

She realizes she isn't going to answer these men, she isn't going with them either, she needs to dash out. Like a culprit she doesn't want to hear if these men are policemen or private investigators she won't be caught if at all she's guilty of any crime.

Seeing how these men surround her she understands they aren't going to let her go easily, they were willing to drag her inside the car. Olivia finds the thinnest opportunity to slip through and escape this trap. They hold her, dragging her towards the car but Olivia fights.

She wrestles because her life depends on it. Luckily, there's a vehicle close passing by.

These men didn't come to joke, they are ready to manhandle her against her will into the car, what else would they do to her?

Tough Olivia runs in front of the incoming vehicle spreading her arms. She closes her eyes seeing this vehicle won't stop but she has a tough mind she keeps still, standing.

The vehicle eventually screeches to a halt. Olivia's panting, placing her fingers to the door opening it. Her day couldn't get worse. Her heart rises with her breath.

There's no time to react. This man behind the wheels happens to be the same man she met at the bar in the club, Don Marco AKA the CEO of Highland company.

His eyes grow wide apart when he sees her, the shock shows in his eyes, in that moment of confusion she doesn't think twice, she drags him out of his vehicle starting the car. CEO, Marco; the man with the brown hair and green eyes, runs heading towards his car entering the front seat.

"Are you mad??" He angrily thunders.

"I'm sorry sir, I'm in big trouble. I just need your help at the moment."

"No, you're in bigger trouble now. Stop my car right this moment."

Ollivia continues driving. "I'm sorry, I just really need to pass this." The vehicles she saw earlier began chasing behind her with excessive speed. She too steps on the accelerator.

"I don't know who you think you are, but I'm sure you don't know who I am either."

Olivia screams, "Will you shut up!? Will you shut the fuck up!!?" Her eyes go to the side mirror and she sees they are not relentless. What problem has she put herself in now? She's tired already but proceeds. Her eyes open when she feels bigger palms on her hands.

"Let go of my stirring wheel," Marco orders.

"We'll die if you fight. Just wait for me to park then you'll have your car."

Marco squints his eyes dazed and annoyed. He picks his phone, he seems visibly calm but radiates a killer aura. Ollivia doesn't see the vehicles chasing her as she's made continuous turns.

"Hello," his familiar deep voice booms over the phone, making Olivia lost at the moment. She remembers his husky voice speaking into her ears at night in the room. The vehicle makes a jerking movement suddenly due to the impact of the flashback before regaining its smooth balance.

She recalls what he told her; that she'll never make it in the business world. Right now, she wants nothing more than to kill this man in an accident even if it means killing herself too. But she has to bounce back in life, proving him wrong.

"There's an anomaly in my car. How quick can you get here? You have my location…? Okay." Marco cuts the call, compelling himself to be calm. "I knew you were the devil the first time I set my eyes on you." His aura is intoxicating.

Ollivia shakes her head in anger gritting her teeth about to transform back into her 'wolf'. She tries to rescind the thought of killing him when another vehicle hits them.

Olivia bleeds from her head due to the force of the other vehicle. The tall man she had met at the bar, the very attractive CEO who certainly has anger issues and a frightening aura comes down from the vehicle. He helps her out.

She feels a bit dizzy, CEO Marco's strong arms carry her. He wears a straight expression accessing the stubborn short lady in his arms, her hair is so long and wavy it covers the side of her face.

"Who are you?" He asks her again.

Olivia's feeling intimidated by his dominant aura even her succumbs to his authority. She feels helpless and somehow safe, for an unknown reason. There's something in his eyes, the same way he accessed her in the bar and the interview room, that's the same way he's looking at her now with his beautiful green eyes boring into hers.

Olivia thinks she feels something between them… until she falls to the floor with a heavy thud.

"That's her," Don Marco drops her to the ground. A man in a blue T-shirt she hears the CEO call Triston, makes his way to her with the police.

The police officers cuff her with handcuffs.

"Wait! What did I do?" The raven-haired Ollie screams as they forcefully press her against the vehicle.

Mr. Marco says, "You smashed my cars, first my Mercedes at the company and now my Rolls Royce. Officer she should also be arrested for stealing and destruction of property," he goes closer, whispering into her ear. "I still don't have the slightest idea where you get your confidence from but I'll break every fibre in you. You'll get me a new car."

Olivia's put in the car being driven to the nearest Police Station.

Olivia says, "I didn't even smash the car!"

She's pushed into a cell. Right now, her heart pangs with nothing but hatred for Jace and this rich CEO she doesn't know well.

Her face is buried in the small foam that could double as a rock. She's allowed to make a phone call and the only person she can call for help is her only friend; Damon.

It took up to an hour before her friend Damon comes with an angry look on his face. The prison cell clanks open revealing an also boling-in-rage Olivia whose disarrayed hair makes her really look like what got dumped on the floor.

"Olivia," Damon exhales. "What exactly happened in the VIP room?"

She rolls her eyes, averting her gaze.

He goes on, "I'm sick and tired of your destructive behaviour. Today, you're in jail tomorrow who knows?! I mean you're inconsiderate. Can't you just think before you act once?"

Olivia's about to speak but he interjects. "—don't you dare. You may be wanted for murder. I haven't heard from the man I sent you to the other night. He's a big man and if at all anything bad happens to him and you're involved, you are going down Olivia."

She's angry and tired. "What makes you think I did anything?"

"Some men came to the club asking about a woman who matches your description. Ollie, I'm just tryna be there for you. Hope you didn't kill nobody."
