Rover, Nanoe, Morie, and Monica all stared at the TV. On the screen were small tiles, each showing footage fed by the security cameras.
Morie had installed the cameras so they could observe as many key locations as possible.
Rover frowned when, within the thick fog opposite the main gate of Block C, a bizarre figure appeared.
A skeleton over two meters tall, draped in a black robe, holding a scythe like the Grim Reaper.
Black miasma seeped off its body. Even through the camera feed, Rover could feel the chill, the evil, and the death radiating from that aberrant creature.
A lantern hung from the scythe. It looked like the one Otrix used to carry, but it did not emit blue light. Instead, it glowed blood-red.
Then behind it came zombies, but unlike before, they weren't moving in a frenzy.
Right now, they formed two neat lines, slowly entering the building.
