The battlefield was now a storm of fire and lightning. The ground shook like it was crying in pain. Walls of the dimension collapsed one by one.
Naruto and Goku Fusion — UzuSai Legend Mode — stood tall, body surrounded by swirling gold-and-blue energy like a living sun and ocean combined. Their eyes glowed fierce… but also tired.
Void floated above them, now in his true form — glowing purple armor, wings made of shadows, and a halo cracked like broken reality.
"You two are beautiful," Void spoke, voice echoing like thunder. "A perfect mix of chaos and hope. A fusion of fate."
The Fusion warrior pointed forward. "We didn't come this far to entertain you. We will end this — right now!"
Void spread his wings. "Then show me your final dream… your final fear."
He launched beams of darkness. The Fusion dodged, countering with a chakra-ki blade. Their clash sent shockwaves powerful enough to erase mountains.
Naruto's voice spoke inside the fusion mind:
❝Goku… our power is dropping. This form won't last long.❞
Goku's voice replied:
❝I know. But we must finish him before we lose it.❞
They charged again, hitting Void with punches faster than sound. Void smiled even while breaking.
"You believe both worlds can survive? You are wrong."
He snapped his fingers.
Reality split open.
Behind him, a frightening scene appeared — Earth and Naruto's world colliding slowly, like two planets crashing into each other.
People were screaming, oceans rising, storms raging across both Earths.
Naruto gasped internally. ❝No… my friends… not again!❞
Void laughed.
"Your fight already broke the universes. Even if you kill me, your worlds will still die."
The Fusion staggered, confidence shaking.
Then Void whispered:
"Except… if one of you dies willingly."
The Fusion froze.
"If Naruto dies, Goku's world will survive.
If Goku dies, Naruto's world will survive."
Inside the mind, silence.
Naruto spoke first:
❝Goku… choose your world. I can't watch your family die.❞
Goku shouted back:
❝No! My world is stronger, they can fight… Naruto-kun, your world needs you!❞
Their hearts were both breaking… because both wanted to sacrifice themselves.
Void smiled cruelly.
"Beautiful. Heroes always taste best when they cry."
He launched a spear of darkness straight into their chest. The Fusion screamed — the form flickered — and suddenly…
It separated.
Naruto fell one way.
Goku fell the other.
Both badly injured.
Void stood between them.
"No more fusions. One life must disappear now."
Naruto struggled to stand, trembling, coughing blood.
"I… will never let… you decide our lives!"
Kurama growled inside him — weakened but alive.
Goku shakily lifted his head, eyes fierce.
"You don't choose… we choose!"
Void raised his hand. "Then make your choice."
He summoned two energy spheres — one targeting Naruto's world…
the other targeting Earth.
Both planets now only seconds away from destruction.
Naruto screamed, reaching out. "STOP!!!"
Goku also shouted. "PLEASE!!!"
Void laughed louder, madness filling the broken sky.
"This is your final test!
Which world will you save?
Who must die?"
Both heroes felt the ultimate pain:
the pain of choosing who lives… and who dies.
Naruto's eyes met Goku's.
Both held tears.
Both held love for their worlds.
Then Naruto whispered:
"Goku… I'm sorry."
He started forming a Rasengan — but this one was pointed at his own heart.
Goku yelled desperately:
"NARUTO, NO!!!"
Void's eyes widened, thrilled.
"Yes… YES! A willing sacrifice!"
Naruto smiled sadly.
"My dream… is for people to smile. If I must die… then I'll die with a smile."
Goku lurched forward, trying to stop him — but too slow…
Naruto raised the glowing Rasengan…
