Forbidden Spell Hellfire Armageddon.
Zayne roared, and a surge of flame rose in his hand, crimson below and violet above, blooming like a demonic lotus.
The fire dropped onto a pile of dried wood and ignited it instantly.
Using a forbidden spell to start a campfire. If anyone saw this, their eyes would pop out.
It was like lighting a cigarette with a nuclear bomb.
After an entire day of slaughter, Zayne had reached level three. The forbidden spell he unlocked at level three was Hellfire Armageddon, a spell that summoned hellfire by sacrificing one's own body.
The higher the level, the harder it was to advance.
Level one to two required one thousand experience.
Level two to three required two thousand.
Level three to four required three thousand.
Reaching level three within a single day satisfied Zayne greatly. Most people were probably still struggling to reach level two. At this pace, reaching level ten before the dungeon closed would be easy.
Zayne dragged over the corpse of a Three Eyed Demon Boar, skinned it, cut off a hind leg, and set it above the burning hellfire.
Fat sizzled and popped as the flame roasted the meat, releasing a mouthwatering aroma that made Zayne's stomach rumble.
He might not starve thanks to immortality, but hunger still felt awful. He was not a masochist and had no reason to deny himself food.
Hellfire burned hotter than normal flames, making it perfect for cooking. Soon the boar leg was crisp on the outside and tender inside.
Zayne tore off a chunk. Juice spilled down his fingers, steaming in the cool air.
The rich flavor burst across his tongue, and for a moment he grew emotional.
Three Eyed Demon Boar meat was firm and savory, far better than anything he had eaten in the slums.
For years, he had lived poor and hidden, unable to enjoy anything good.
But now he was a class holder. Once he had the strength to protect himself, he would no longer need to live like a rat.
While Zayne devoured the meat, Nia suddenly paused in the distance. Her eyes narrowed as she sensed a surge of fire elemental energy in the forest.
As a fire mage, she was highly attuned to fire. The moment hellfire appeared, she felt it immediately.
Besides me, there should not be a second fire oriented SSS class in Old Shipyard Port. How is there such a powerful fire fluctuation? Could it be a fire elemental treasure?
Curiosity flashed through her eyes, and she rushed toward the source.
Meanwhile Zayne finished eating, stomped out the fire, and even urinated on it for safety before moving on.
He firmly believed in never leaving behind a wildfire.
By the time Nia arrived, Zayne was long gone. Only a smoldering fire pit remained.
So it really was a human making this. The fire energy is nearly equal to mine.
Nia was shocked. She knelt, picked up a half burned stick, and sniffed it lightly. Her beautiful brows knit together.
It is indeed the scent of true hellfire. But why is there another strange smell mixed in?
She could not figure it out, but she did not dwell on it. Instead she stood up, eyes shining with excitement.
Old Shipyard Port really is full of hidden talent. Wait for me. I, Nia, will find you.
Compared to someone stubborn and foolish like Zayne, a powerful genius who knew how to hide their abilities interested her far more.
After checking her surroundings, she quickly followed the direction Zayne had taken.
Forbidden Spell Infernal Overdrive.
Forbidden Spell Worldbane Thunderfall.
Zayne was rampaging through the deepest part of the forest, sweeping through monsters like a swarm of locusts.
Even with a brand new attack spell, he still preferred Worldbane Thunderfall. A single strike killed monsters instantly without suffering.
Hellfire Armageddon required a few seconds to burn them to death, and Zayne considered that cruel.
He did not see himself as a monster. He thought of himself as rather kindhearted.
He kept farming until deep into the night. He was about to hit level four and prepared to push through, when he suddenly heard movement behind him.
Zayne narrowed his eyes and instantly deactivated Infernal Overdrive. The blood flame around him vanished.
He knew monster sounds well. Whoever was approaching was human.
A long pale leg appeared first, stepping into his field of vision, followed by a familiar cold face. Nia's black hair cascaded under the moonlight like a river of ink.
Even Zayne had to admit that although she was stubborn, her looks and figure were top tier.
Still, the beginner dungeon was huge. How did he run into this woman?
Zayne? Why is it you?
The moment Nia saw him, her brows furrowed. Her earlier excitement vanished.
She had come searching for the mysterious fire wielder, not Zayne. Why would Zayne be here?
Then the explanation clicked.
Zayne must have realized how deadly it was to solo as a Forbidden Spellcaster and regretted his earlier decision. He must have come to beg for her help.
I told you already. Forbidden Spellcaster is strong, but not suited for soloing. Now it is too late for regrets. Pestering me will not change anything. Move aside. I have something important to do.
Her tone carried zero warmth. If Zayne had insisted on soloing, she might have respected him. But this behavior only made her despise him.
She had given him multiple chances and he wasted them. Now that he was in trouble, he wanted to crawl back?
Nia despised two faced men the most.
And worst of all, he was blocking her from seeking the hellfire master. That made her irritation spike.
Zayne stared at her, baffled. She had chased him down, yet now he was somehow the one pestering her?
He finally understood.
This woman was not just single minded.
Her mind was missing an entire piece.
