Chapter 1 - Before Everything.

Centuries ago, before the world as we know it took shape, three powerful orders emerged from the heart of ancient Germany: the Templars, the Teutonic Knights, and the Hospitallers. Though distinct in origin, they shared a single ambition—to unite the world under one absolute authority. In time, they forged an alliance, calling themselves the Brotherhood of Crusaders.

Their campaign for control began with the First Crusade. Through diplomacy, political manipulation, and promises of peace, they spread their influence across Europe. Most nations submitted willingly. But one stood firm—Great Britain. Refusing to bow to foreign powers, Britain resisted, and war broke out. The crusaders emerged victorious, but it was a hard-earned triumph.

Emboldened, the crusaders launched the Second Crusade, turning their eyes to the south. Nation after nation fell. Then came the Third Crusade, as their forces sailed west—across the sea—to conquer new lands. For a time, it seemed no one could stand in their way.

But power breeds resistance.

From the depths of shadow, a silent force rose—the Assassins. With neither armies nor flags, they fought in secret, striking at the heart of the crusader machine. A long, bloody war followed. Slowly, the tide turned. Nations once subdued began to reclaim their independence. The Brotherhood of Crusaders faltered.

And then… they vanished.

Both crusaders and assassins disappeared from history, their great war reduced to whispers and forgotten ruins. Whether they truly perished, or simply faded into the shadows once more, remains a mystery.

Thus ends the prologue.
