Chapter 103 - Chapter 103 Li Mo: Communicating with Humans is So Difficult

"Stay away from me when we go to the Lustful Realm later," Yin Xiu instructed calmly.

Li Mo's lips, which had just curved into a smile, fell back down. "Why?"

Yin Xiu: I can't quite put my finger on it, is it just an intuition about a sense of crisis?

Li Mo: ...

He remained silent, then turned to see Ye Tianxuan laughing beside him, and became even more silent.

After returning to the organization, Ye Tianxuan pulled Zuo Meng out of the corner and placed her in front of Yin Xiu.

This person has also been deeply affected by laziness. They have lost all the energy they had at the beginning and are now completely lethargic. "Why bother working hard? I can just lie down and clear the dungeon. I can just squat in the corner like a mushroom and that's it. Anyway, no one can attack me."

He muttered to himself, too lazy to even take out the Laziness Coin, until Ye Tianxuan gave him a slap to wake him up and he finally snapped out of his drowsiness.

The moment the Lazy Coin was handed to Yin Xiu, Zuo Meng instantly snapped back to reality, terrified. "What happened to me?! Why does my left cheek hurt so much?!"

Ye Tianxuan smiled faintly, "It's the influence of the Sin Sect."

Zuo Meng immediately started cursing, covering her left cheek with a wronged expression, "This crime is so awful! It's ruining the life of a promising young person like me with a bright future! And it's made my left cheek hurt so much!"

Ye Tianxuan patted his shoulder kindly and comforted him, "It's okay, now that I've taken away the Gate of Sin, you're free."

Zuo Meng was deeply moved, her eyes sparkling. "Thank you so much, Boss Yin Xiu, for saving me. Following you was definitely the right decision!"

Ye Tianxuan nodded, "Do we still need the Sloth Sin Gate?"

"No, no! I want to fight alongside you, boss! This Sin Gate only knows how to defend and not attack, it's too unsuitable for me!" Without the Sin Gate of Laziness, Zuo Meng immediately became energetic and overjoyed.

"Good, you're very energetic." Ye Tianxuan silently pushed him to the door and patted him on the shoulder. "Now you should quickly copy down every single rule you have and carry it with you. Don't fall behind in the dungeon progress."

"Okay, okay," Zuo Meng replied, and immediately covered her burning face happily.

Ye Tianxuan closed the door to the lounge, turned around and asked, "Yin Xiu, will wearing white handcuffs and holding the coin from the Sloth Gate have any negative effects?"

He turned his head and saw Yin Xiuzheng sitting in the corner, facing the wall with a gloomy expression. The handcuffs on his wrists had turned purple, and he was lazily muttering, "If you don't want to work hard, just go kill your way to the warden's office."

"Why bother collecting rules separately? It's such a hassle..."

"What kind of sin gate is this... I don't want it, it's so annoying... I want to go back to fishing."

As he muttered to himself, he slowly stood up, his eyes dark as he held the knife. "Let's kill him quickly and go back to fishing."

Ye Tianxuan chuckled dryly and pulled a cigarette out of his pocket. "Your laziness is really different from others..."

He lit a cigarette, exhaled a puff of purple smoke that filled the entire lounge, then stubbed it out. He looked at Li Mo, who was squatting in the corner like Yin Xiu, and instructed him, "Stay by his side and don't let him go out. He'll recover in a bit."

Li Mo nodded, then turned around and imitated Yin Xiu, facing the wall.

The two sat quietly in the corner, creating a remarkably harmonious scene.

Ye Tianxuan clicked his tongue and shook his head, then put away his cigarette case and turned to leave the house to attend to his business.

Purple smoke swirled in the quiet room. Yin Xiu sat blankly in the corner, his consciousness somewhat hazy.

Zi Yan calmed himself down, but the corruption of sloth and sin surged within him, making him momentarily dazed, his gaze fixed unfocused on the corner of the wall.

Li Mo sat next to him, staring intently at him and observing Yin Xiu's reaction.

After a moment of silence, Yin Xiu's pupils suddenly contracted, and he slowly raised his head to look at Li Mo beside him. His eyes were still somewhat dark, but there was a hint of clarity amidst his confusion. "You... how did you get out?"

Li Mo looked puzzled.

Yin Xiu slowly tilted his head and leaned on Li Mo's shoulder, his eyes glazed over, but his tone was natural, "I don't want to go back to the coffin to sleep, I'll just sit here for a while."

Li Mo trembled, and a clear wavering appeared on his face, which had been maintaining a smile. He stared at Yin Xiu without saying anything, afraid of disturbing his state of mind.

Yin Xiu leaned against Li Mo, gazing at the pale wall as if looking into another dimension, and lazily muttered, "It's so dark here. When will you be able to get out of here..."

He patted Li Mo's hand, "Don't be afraid... I won't leave, I'll stay here until I die..."

As he muttered to himself, Yin Xiu's eyelids gradually drooped, and he kept muttering, "I'm sleepy... I want to sleep for a while..."

"While I'm sleeping...you must keep an eye on me...keep an eye on me..."

"Don't look anywhere else, look at me... or I'll die..."

"Just look at me... just look at me..."

As Yin Xiu muttered, tentacles silently extended from Li Mo's side, encircling Yin Xiu, each eye staring intently at him without blinking.

"Look at me... don't ignore me..."

"don't want..."

"don't want?"

Yin Xiu suddenly looked up, and before he could even be confused by the inexplicable words that had just come out of his mouth, he immediately felt nauseous.

He quickly got up and went to another corner, spitting out a large mouthful of black liquid, while the handcuffs gradually turned white again.

Li Mo sat quietly in the corner, staring at Yin Xiu, slowly retracting his tentacles without saying a word.

After Yin Xiu finished vomiting, he let out a long sigh of relief and turned to see Li Mo sitting in the corner. "What are you doing sitting there?"

Li Mo smiled and shook his head, then stood up.

Yin Xiu felt his consciousness was somewhat clouded, as if his brain had been churned up, making it difficult to think clearly. "I think I just said something strange, but I don't quite remember..."

Li Mo smiled faintly, "I didn't say anything strange."

Yin Xiu suppressed his discomfort and turned around. "As long as they didn't say anything strange, I'll go open the door for some fresh air."

He turned around, and the moment he touched the doorknob, he suddenly felt a strong chill erupt from behind him, and someone rushed up and pinned him against the door.

The person behind him didn't exude any threat or show any intention to attack. He simply stayed close to Yin Xiu, enveloped in coldness, radiating his presence.

Yin Xiu felt his icy body, felt the fine strands of hair falling on his neck, and felt his slow, deep breathing, which seemed calm but was also chilling.

"What's wrong?"

Yin Xiu never knew what he was thinking or when his emotions would erupt. Suddenly, he would rush up and hug him, looking all fierce. He was really at a loss.

Li Mo lowered his head, gently resting it against Yin Xiu's side, and said in a low, muffled voice, "I don't know what humans should do when they encounter this kind of thing. I've just entered the human environment and am still learning the right way, the way that won't hurt you."

"The human spirit is so fragile; it can collapse at the slightest carelessness. I haven't found a better way to bring your consciousness back."

Yin Xiu paused for a moment, "Regain consciousness? You mean help me recover from my sinful state?"

"Don't worry too much about it, having Ye Tianxuan is enough."

Li Mo remained silent, then turned his back to Yin Xiu, took a book out of his mouth, and began to flip through it at lightning speed.

Communicating with humans is so difficult. Did he use the wrong word? Why is Yin Xiu's understanding different from his?
