Glitch
Then it happened, her face, her whole presence. Glitched with that of Joan the same smile, the same words, the same expression 'feelings exterminated' like a notification going off a voice resounded in my mind my whole mood turning sour, feeling the void in the place of my heart churning, expanding eating away what little hope I had, what little joy i felt
"Is something wrong" she asked but could i answer her. I just kept seeing her face glitch with joans face continuously over and over, the fake smile, the fake eyes and that stupid care she gave me
"Hahaha hahaha" I started laughing "forgive me my dear but we will have to cancel it seems as if it will rain"
"Your lying.. why?" She asked sounding broken but i did i care yes, yes I cared but she couldn't feel that 'save me Danirah' i screamed loudly in my head wanting for her to hear me
"Lets just say am not feeling alright okay" I stressed feeling anger overwhelming me "just go okay" I voiced out closing my eyes 'please don't' i actually thought 'please stay'.
I looked up trying to stop tears from falling.i felt my self feel alot at the same time sinking deeper into an abyss 'why now' i thought 'its never a coincidence after all'.
"You ... are you alright, your shivering" her sweet voice rang out but it overlapped with Joan's word's that day 'why why why now' i kept on repeating in my head 'why won't you let me have peace .. you stupid stupid heart'. All I wanted was to find a knife and cut out my heart 'why does it have to hurt' i thought laying my hand on my chest feeling my heart pumping wrongly pumping sadness in my veins
"Fyn my cousin has even comeback .. I'll just go help her unpack" she said moving towards the door 'please stay' I thought feeling something in my chest tighten, my hearbeat rising 'why why won't you just stop pumping' i screamed silently.
"Whats her name" I asked "your cousin whats her name"
She stopped turning to look at me yet all i saw was Joan smiling, taunting me.
"Joan" she replied "her name is Joan"
